Time For Resilience
Hello Everybody,
Greetings and Bonjours from the south of France where spring is putting on a big show with some incredible blossoms and raised temperatures. Summer is on the way and I don't need a calendar to tell me that. The Tramontana is blowing through the vineyards and on the back of that, the beautiful extreme of the summer which will demand adapting the way we do things here.
I sincerely hope that everybody is well and managing in these times of challenge and you too are looking forward to brighter days.
It's been a little while since I posted anything here although I have been laser focused on my business and that is paying dividends. Passionate Action is making a difference and the differences are growing into big things. The challenges of business have been one thing but add to that the six other "quarantined" people in our house and the regular challenges have taken on and demanded new perspectives.
My attention has been diluted and yet I am still getting a lot done. True, I have almost stopped my activity at Wealthy Affiliate of late but that has given me around three hours time for other things each week.
Mountain bike rides are at about 30-minutes each day rather than the usual 90-minutes and my fingers are crossed that our local mayor won't decide to follow other French communities and ban sporting activity during the day. I am already limited to 1-kilometer radius from home around our sparsely populated area. That in itself has demanded some clever creativity.
There is some loneliness around the house right now. But, how can that be with seven people rattling around? Yes, it's possible to feel lonely in a crowd so, we've had to find ways of doing things differently and changing things around a little. It has taken unusual measures and high-doses of resilience from all residents. It doesn't matter what we think about the rules, our only option is to get on with life and business in the best way we can for us.
Thank heavens for technology, right? Face-Time, Skype chat and Zoom conferences have been super-helpful for social and business life; better-connected, better together.
Let me know if you want to share a couple of drinks, I'm sure we can arrange a virtual get together in the comfort of our homes.
Wishing you a wonderful day

It could still be lonely in a crowd Steve. It's good you have some positive ways of dealing with the situation. Technology and a couple of drinks would be helpful.
Hi Debbi. I love a challenge, there's always a solution although some are resistant 🤣.
Hope all's well with you.

Hi Steve, six others quarantined in the same house. Shortening your bike rides from 90 minutes to 30 minutes. We certainly have had to change our lifestyles. We are enjoying the spring, and anxiously waiting for summer, although I am not sure about summer activities.
Stay safe and healthy,
Michael
Hi Michael, great to see you. I hope all's well. Summer activities might be a challenge indeed. We heard that Le Pres is making a new announcement on Monday.... more restrictions. Can't think of any more so that should be interesting. Take care & stay safe.

Hi Steve, tough times for everyone. Seems the only thing that works is self isolation. We need to build up our immune systems. I see you are a physical person, and that is great.
Best wishes and stay healthy,
Michael
Attitude and Positiveness is most important during these times. Thank you for your share exgrosteve.
Hi Edward. Great to see you. Positive attitudes for sure. I hope all is well with you. Take care.

I'm glad you can get out for at least a half-hour bike ride. Me, I haven't been out of the house for 9 weeks now. Being handicapped has its disadvantages. The US has some new numbers released today that looks like we MAY be getting hold of this thing, altho it will take weeks if not months to slow it all down. Until then we hope and pray for relief. With seven of you inside together, at least there won't ever be a dull moment. :^)
Linda
Thanks Linda. Indeed, never a dull moment although some of the locals are getting snippy. They don't appreciate my jokes either. Oh dear 🤣. Stay safe & take care.
