Consider time management when you are serious
Are you frustrating about being too busy to work on your project?
Actually, many of us are busy because we are being active on many mindless things. We usually have an illusion of time that it is shorter than actual when we spend our time on what we enjoy. On the other hand, it seems to be longer when we are boring or painful. You may wonder if there is anything we can break the illusion of time. So far, the best way I found out is to track our time!
Have you heard of the application called Toggl? Toggl is the most popular tool to track our own time. By tracking our own time, we know exactly how much time we spend on our project. We can analyze the step or process that takes the longest time to work on so we know what to do to make us work faster.
I introduce you the app Clockify. It exactly looks like Toggl. Toggl is popular because it is easy to be used, and the marketers are doing good jobs of promoting it. However, one of the downside of Toggl is the cost. That's why one of the big Toggl user once upon a time ended up with making his own time tracker, Clockify. You can consider Clockify as a free version of Toggl. Yes. It's mostly free!
Learn how to use it. I guarantee your life will be changed. I am learning how to use it too. Expect taking about 2 months on making time tracking as a habit.
