Making The First Circle Work: Importance of Running a Business To Attract Top Prospects
This week I am going to really set in and focus on the most important
facet of our business, our personal circle. What I want each of you to do is grab a
piece of paper and a pen..as we are going to do an exercise of what is a personal
circle. and what do we want to attract to make our team grow.
GRAB A PEN AND PAPER AND DO THIS EXERCISE
On a full page of paper, draw a huge circle taking up the majority of the page
with enough space for a title.. on the front type in QUALITIES OF THE BEST
AFFILIATE, on the BACK put... STACKING UP...
SO when doing this exercise here are some of the qualities I put of the person that I
want to attract on to my team and I think you should write these down and add some
more as we proceed.
1. big dreams
2. hungry/desire
3. coachable
4. open minded
5. loyal, trustworthy
6. influential
7. purchases product/services through their set up autosave
8. makes enough commissions to max out or pay for their own purchases
9. takes a portion of their income and gives to charity
10. takes a portion of their income and puts back into building their business
11. focused weekly effort, focused launch (72 hr launch first 25 names to get first 2)
12. makes it a priority to learn at events.. does what it takes to make it
13. does dailyincome producing activities versus busy day activities
14. has a list of 100 to 300 plus and not afraid to contact
15. likes to learn and grow their skill sets to become better,
16. reads a new book a month, particularily before bed or right when they wake up
17. meditates or prays for a time to see take a step back to take a few steps forward
18. works a weekly plan based on the karatbars play plan cycle
19. works a monthly plan based on the biz pay plan cycle
20. leads group, always willing to do those small things in order to help motivate and
inspire their teams ... basically to be the first to do things..
There is much more we could put down if we were in a room together brain storming, lets stop there..
PART 2:
Now flip the paper over.. at the top lets put.. My First Circle Qualities (go over the first part)
One of the most important facets of leadership is taking stock of what skills and abilities
you have now and learning, moving, growing to educate yourself to the point that you
become better.. by become better over time..you attract those based on your new
attitude, your outlook, your charisma, who are 7, 8 and 9s.. see if we see ourselves as
4 5 and 6s.. how do you expect to sponsor and lead a 7 8 r 9.. now i believe that each
of you are truly 10s.. but many of you do not see that in yourself first.. this is why every
once in a while i do this simple exercise to see how i stack up as a person, as a
leader..am i doing those little things each day and week that others who aren't
successful do not do.. as simple as a text or call to someone on the team who has
been quiet for a week, talking to new team mates, making time to call the newest
people on the team away from my personals so i can work tap roots legs..working with
the most excited person on the team..
Remember if you want to attract those 'big dawgs' the 'influencers' and the 'whales'
some names we affectionately call those we believe can come in and kill a simple
business like this.. then what we need to do is take the time to become self aware, and
grow to meet the expectations we put on ourselves but also others put on us.
I hope you take some time tonight and do this exercise as I believe it will help put you
in a position to grow.
