Just Over 7 Months In and Yes It Does Really Work
Well I hit my 6 and 7 month anniversary here but I didn't blog as I have been pretty busy re-vamping my websites and starting up another one. But...
I just logged on to my Amazon US account just now to create some native shopping ads and just happened to look at the reports and I made 6 sales this week! I had already made a couple of sales in October (someone bought a Ripple Rug) so my Amazon account was safe.
All this is on my cat site so its not paying a lot but it has only been going since April and it is my first site so started slow whilst I did the training. It still only has about 60 pages on it.
Not only that I joined Etsy affiliate about three weeks ago and I surprisingly got a sale from there too ($3.50 commission on a $70 purchase so not much but again it will hopefully add up).
So whoop whoop here. Yes they are small amounts but most cat commissions are quite low.
I have decided as well to change my WA promo site into more of a make money/save money blog as well (am trying to rebrand it) as I didn't feel overly comfortable with the actual direction it was going in and hopefully it will feel a bit more fluffy and suit me better.
My photo training site is currently being worked on and I am producing a couple of photoshop training videos initially. I'll then move into the studio for a few days to do some simple lighting tutorials.
So stick with it guys it really does work but it can take time especially if in a competitive or lower paying niche.
Update - Just found that I had another Amazon US purchase yesterday as well AND someone has purchased from the Amazon UK site. And I had an email from a manufacturer thanking me for the nice review of one of their products as well as another manufacturer wanting me to review one of their products - someone must be finding my cat site.
