A little Success Story From Skills Learnt at WA

Success happens on many different levels, and can happen simultaneously on many of these levels at the same time if we are ready for this to occur.

Some background information, A few years back i was involved in a bricks and morta business. I had a substantial share holding in this particular company. Through a complex course of events, I was placed in an untenable position. The out come, basically I turned over that shareholding in that company for the sum of one dollar.

This represented a major loss on many different levels, financially, emotionally, relationship wise both personal and business associate wise. The fall out was emense.It leaves you in a vunerable position. As an individual it can be very challenging to pick yourself up dust your self off and get back into the game. To be honest it takes a little time to get things sorted. It is a head space thing.

At that low ebb, it can indeed be a very lonely place. Folks mean well and there is advice aplenty. At the end of the day it is your journey and you are the only one that can make the decisions that will change your situation. It is a process.I looked at it as an opportunity. Because of the complexity of the situation it required some different and creative thinking to remain in the market that I was involved in. That in it's self has been a major positive.

The Success Story

The opportunity presented, to make direct contact with the company. From being here at Wealthy Affiliate I am developing a new skill set. Which is a definitely a work in progress. I tackled this situation from a different perspective.

Some times the simple things are the best things.

I decided to construct the correspondence in the same vein as creating a blog, by including the following. Classic solution.

• Keywords
• Long tail key words
• 3 to 4 sentence paragraphs
• Added some images
• Added some calls to actions.
• Provided some solutions to issues that the company were having.
• Had it hand delivered to the appropriate person. ( custom audience )

The out come could be described as miraculous, I was contacted by the chairman on new year's eve, we had a very positive conversation. Next week we will be sitting down and negotiating a way forward in which will include me taking a shareholding in the company. Unbeleavable. What a ride.

Success in business is related to the strategies that you develop and implement.

If I wasn't here at WA would I achieved this out come definitely not. It's not an online success story, but it is a" take the online skill set and apply it to a bricks and morta situation". This makes for a very interesting journey, my return on my membership has well truly paid dividends beyond belief. Everything from here on in will be a bonus. A bonus which will help many other folks and that is a given fact.

This is a story about the success that can be obtained by applying the skills we learn here, weather it be online or off line. It is an overview, if things aren't going to plan.

Stop think and reinvent, its an ongoing process.
