How to get paid by Amazon when you are not in the countries they offer a payment

Hey guys and gals

I thought I would just add this in here because I see a lot of people have asked this question before. You see my banking is in South Africa and Amazon only allows direct deposits into spicifc countries. However, I managed to over come this when I got an international card which links you to your local bank as well as gives you many options to have an international bank. Before you get excited you must look if your country has any tax policies regarding this! So lets dig right in here. I was tired of getting gift vouchers because they don't pay the rent monthly and seeing as I do this and web development full time there are some months that I wish the gift cards would by miricle transfer into cash to my account. Then while being in Slovenia (my new home) I needed a travel card. I wnt through many different websites and finally I found transferwise. Transferwise offers you to have a bank account in different countries with IBAN and BIC codes that actually work with amazon. So once you signed up and submitted proof that you are who you say you are, you can then link it to your local bank account as well as take out other bank accounts. Unfortunatily it don't work with paypal. So only use this for when amazon pays you out.

I hope this helps with those who are tired of getting paid in gift cards
