Don't let yourself overthink everything.

It's been a long time since I last posted here. Enjoy

Most of us are guilty of overthinking everything.

Sheldon recommends that you just jump in before you have time to think about.

You need to focus on your habits and develop good habits.

When people first start out online, their main focus is money.

I recall spending hours thinking "how will I make money".

"You get what you deserve."

In order to make money you must deserve it. You don't need to be good, you just need to deserve it.

In order to deserve money you must add value to the world regardless of the niche.

So what you need to do is train your brain to focus on creating successful habits from day one.

Focus on learning the first step, then move to the 2nd step, then the 3rd step, etc...

The second step doesn't matter until the 1st step is completed.

Don't focus on making things perfect because it never will be......EVER!

Version 1.0 is better than NO.0

I'm constantly pushing myself outside my comfort zone.

Are You?

At every step you must be willing to do what it takes.

Videos may be uncomfortable, but do you know how you get good at videos?

Lot's of practice and understanding you will not be good when you start.

Building your business will take time, but you must get started with the first step.

Don't allow the fear of failure stop you.

I fail often. And I admit it freely.

Most of my ideas are absolute garbage, but I don't view them as failure.

I view them as valuable data to teach me how to get one step closer to getting it right.

It's easy to look at someone who is successful and get overwhelmed with all the details.

Just focus on constantly bettering yourself.

Just focus on taking one step at a time and getting better.

Over thinking will paralyze you from taking action.

Focus on getting your blog setup, creating an attractive bribe to test traffic on and creating content for your audience.

Once you get the basics down you can start thinking about paid ads, split testing and more advanced concepts.

Try to simplify everything and take it one step at a time.

You will mess up a lot of stuff, but don't sweat it man. Just have fun building your business and enjoy the process.

It's not like a job, once you learn the skills you decide how much you make and how big you want to grow.

Powerful advice, Sheldon,
I will try to keep it in mind. Overthinking IS one of the errors I tend to commit, though I know it's toxic. All reminders are appreciated.

Please expand on your "attractive bribe to test traffic on" - does this relate to the "offer" we dangle to entice an opt-in or a buy decision? or what?

Thanks,
Steve

Yes Sftat. I offer free access to my blogging course in exchange for their email address.

I feel what you are saying. I am over thinking, but I am enjoying myself. The nature of humans is the contradiction. Thank you very much for this insight. Please have a happy and prosperous 2018. I will be following you for more wisdom. (:-)
