Hello and Happy Hump Day

1) The Importance Of Really Knowing Your Target Audiences

Does your target audience love camping in the hills of the Smoky Mountains? If you want to market to your target audience online, then it’s important to figure out where they hang out on the internet. If your target audience wants a social experience, then it’s important for you to engage them with comments and pictures.

A target audience is generally associated with a business's marketing message, which highlights the advantages and benefits of a business's product or service. An example of this is when a child, part of a target audience, is positively reached through a communication channel such as a TV advertisement for toys.

Once you identify common problems for your clients, you get closer to identifying the beliefs and values of your target audience. Also, important is to realize that audience research and market research will help you identify your target audience’s pain points, which is crucial to resonate with your audience.

Your target audience consists of the specific group or groups of people most likely to purchase your product or service. A business must identify and understand its target audience if its marketing campaign is to be successful. After all, many of your business decisions will depend on who your target audience is.

Identifying your target audience helps your business in a multitude of ways, such as helping you create the most effective marketing campaigns. The more information you collect from your customers when they make a purchase, the easier it will be for you to nail down their demographics and identify your exact target audience.

2) The Importance Of Understanding Your Target Market

Defining your target audience is one of the first things to do when you create a marketing plan. Your target audience will guide your marketing decisions, from the content of your ads to the platforms potential customers are most likely to use.

In order to clearly understand your target audience, you need to first do a little investigation
. Once you’ve identified your target audience, it’s much easier to provide valuable information to them. Identifying your target audience is the foundation of your marketing strategy.

To effectively define your target audience, you must know the problem that your product or service will solve for your customers. The only way to identify the right target audience for your business is to know your offerings inside-and-out.

3) The Importance Of Identifying Your Target Audience

In marketing, one of your greatest assets will be identifying and understanding your target audience. It’s likely that your business objectives influence who your target audience is. The more information you have, the easier it is to identify and reach your target audience. When you clearly identify your target audience, you focus on connecting with them and only them.

As with anything in marketing, revisiting your strategy and your target audiences is important as changes occur over time. Identifying your target audience is an essential part of marketing your business. Start defining and understanding your target audience so that you can make the most of your precious time—and theirs.

The best way to understand your target audience is to immerse yourself in it. Your target audience should guide your marketing strategy, so it’s important to remind yourself of the customer’s needs during each step of the process. Clearly define your target audience in writing and keep it where you’ll be sure to see it any time you have to make an important decision.

I like your article. I've only been posting since mid February and am fairly new to this whole thing. I haven't had a sale yet so it's really tough to figure out who my target audience is. Google analytics doesn't tell me much about whether or not my articles are liked. So I'm kind of at a loss as to who my audience is besides knowing they're beginning gardeners. Do you have any advice for me? Thanks for the post.
Nina

Hi Nina. I know Eugene will respond in time, but I just want to encourage you to work through his steps; it takes time to really get a good picture of who your audience is.
And it takes time before you start seeing sales.
The key is to keep researching other sites that focus on beginning gardeners, they can help you with ideas of your own to make your site unique.
Use your time wisely and try each day you are able to follow through the training, adding content as you are led.
Success is a journey one day at a time.
Have a blessed week.

Thanks Ray, that's great advice. I try to use my time wisely but sometimes get caught up in reading too many blogs that are posted here and then I like to comment. It's takes some time. I think I have to be more regimented and only allot a certain time to do this as we were told in Kyle's training.
Thanks again for the advice!
Nina

You're so right about a target audience. If you write for the general public, you will not please anyone. You must hone in on a specific group of people. There WILL be some outliers though. I mean who would think that a 92 (short of 93 by 1 month) year old would ask for a faster computer for Christmas. lol Your research will capture the bulk though.

Thank you Debbi

Thankyou Eugene. Without knowing your audience its really hard to know how to excite them with a visual, or emotional connection

You're correct Mike

Great post Eugene.
