Goals and progress
Setting goals are impotant, but we also have to look at the 'how' and 'when' of our goals. Kyle was explaining about the importance of goals and how to manage your time, I found that quite useful.
I signed up at WA quite some time ago, I didn't really commit at that point and didn't return or make any progress. About 2 weeks ago I decided to get back into WA and really set some goals for myself.
I was on holiday these past two weeks, so I had a lot of extra time and could really focus on WA. I am now at the end of L2 training (and my holiday), my website is looking good and I feel fairly optimistic. I feel like I have made a lot of progress and really enjoy the process so far. I have spent a lot of time making my website aesthetically appealling and writing good quality posts.
I feel quite supported by the community here and it is really great!
Things that I have found challenging thus far include understanding the layout of the theme on my website and I feel like I spent too much time on navigating that. But no time wasted, I learned a lot and how to manage it more effectively by just playing around,
I am really enjoying it so far, but I am currently concerned by how long it will take to start making money. I do not currently earn a lot and I really want to start making money as soon as possible, I fear that this will push me and I might rush through to get there. I am trying to slow it down and take it all in as I go.
I have to go back to work tomorrow, so this will be the time to really focus on excellent time management, as I believe this will be the make or break.
My main focus is to get ranked on google by consistently creating high quality content. Does everyone get ranked on google at WA?
I am really looking forward to creating a viable and sustainable brand, gaining financial freedom and just keep on doing what I enjoy. And lastly: to contribute to the community here.

Hi Este, it can take time to get our heads around the online flow.
It looks like you are making good progress, creating routines can be the key.

Thank you for those encouraging words! I am not sure on how much time I should set aside for this. I am going to try for 1-2 hours every day.
Way to go, setting time goals can work wonders, 2 hours a day is 14 a week, which is like two work days, that will build momentum.
If you have spare time in the weekends, try adding a little more, by way of blocks.

Hey, Este. Great post. Yes a lot of people get ranked on Google. It does take a while to make money from your website but don't get discouraged. It will all come together.
For one thing, you can do Bing Ads. They are presently giving you a $100 coupon towards opening an account for ad campaigns. And you can open up different accounts with different email addresses. I currently have 3 accounts with $100 each. Use them towards different ad campaigns. But do it soon because this offer won't last long.
