Website building so far
Who`s to say, I might be in over my head at this point, but I`m pushing on through. I have selected a theme with a WooCommerce plug-in. Yea, I`m excited as I do want to create a store as I have an opportunity to provide products to Canada. Let`s see how this goes and hoping that this could be at least north american wide.
It`s all a little different than what is in the training, there is also a different SEO plug in on the site. It seems to be helpful as it breaks down the scoring for each page. I`m hoping that the training will cover this more as I would like further insight.
So far I`ve created a couple of products, managed to load a product image and write a description that as far as my SEO goes needs some work.
I`m finding it challenging to find time to write all my articles that I would like as they require research and with a little one as home I don`t always have big blocks of time to focus on the task at hand.
Domain
I`m looking to transfer to my own domain in the next week or so. I`m not sure how important this is to get rankings, or to just have content is the most important part.
I have posted my site if you would like to check it out and see what I've got so far.
I`m trying to build a site with natural products, but also provide information about what are all the nasty`s that are in our conventional skin care products. I believe that knowledge is power and we need to know what these chemicals are doing to our bodies, whether it be in our cosmetics or our food.
I am hoping to have a functioning store with at least a few products in the next week or so. Earning some revenue would be awesome! In the next 3 months I would like to have all products listed in our skin care lines, both facial and body care.
Learning how to get all my products on specified pages will be a must as this is something that eludes me at the moment.
Thanks for reading my thoughts, and for any feedback that you may have in advance.
