Is is in any way good or bad to have a hyphen in the domain name? Does it matter at all?
Hi, Erika, not recommended, inserting hyphens is just a way of getting around a domain name you wanted but is already taken so you can use it. If someone wants to visit your site but forgets to insert the hyphens, they will be taken to the original site who owns the domain name.
Best wishes.

Hi Erika, it is recommended that we try and avoid domain names with hyphens in them, one of the main reasons is that it can cause confusion and make it harder for people to remember and type in when searching. We speak and the easier it is top say the domain the easier it is to type it in.
The other issue is that when we put in the hyphen it is to try and get as close as we can to the domain name we want, which means someone else has it, they may be squatting on it or they may have a site that is functional and an authority in that niche already.
Just for reflection one of the successful marketers here in WA has a hyphen in his domain name, it is a successful site.

At the end of the day, it is our choice, one of the things that I have just done is to add a word in front of the domain, like "the domain name" or "best domain name"

What are the best free sites?
What are the best paid sites and are they worth it?
Many Thanks for any help on this!
Try Public Domain Files for thousands of images in different categories and guaranteed free of copyright and royalties. These include pictures, fonts, artwork, video clips, etc.
Here is a list of several free sources: Sites where you can get free stock photos I also use AdobeStock. It's $29.99 a month but I can use any 10 images if I want higher quality. I need higher quality as I have a magazine style blog. :) If I don't use all 10, they carryover.
Hope this helps.
Paula

Hi Guys,
I would like to highlight a text on my sale page for my ebook and I would like to put a box around the text. I have WP edit. I do not know how to do this. Can y
Hi Erika, try this. At the beginning of the paragraph of text you want to box put this:
and at the end of the text put:
You can change the font color, color of the border and the padding where indicated.
See if that works.
Joe
P.S. Yes, as theresroth indicates, make sure you are in text mode instead of visual when inserting any html into the post or page. Thanks Therese.
This basic Word Press advice will help Erica. http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-a-border-around-an-image-in-wordpress/
I am not familiar with WP edit, however, all text resides in a box, however, the text box doesn't have visible borders. If WP edit allows you to add the borders and specify the 'padding' (offset of the text so that it doesn't butt up against the text box) I would check the WP Edit forums and also "Google" for your answers as well... will probably be more successful than fishing for answers here.
