At the end of the day it can be about exposing ourselves to risk and then managing that risk.
In our modern times, it is said we are only three life events away from the streets.
Many folks kind of scoff at that prediction, following on one could say how many pay checks are you ahead of your commitments.
That can be our corner, and we didn't even realize.
Better to create our own risks, load all our bases, wait till the bottom of the ninth, last pitch of the game and with a confidence knock that ball out of the park.
So my thinking is no matter how bad it looks, better to take control of our situations.

Hi Alex, yes I agree with you, a little about myself, I moved here with not a lot of money in my pockets from Germany right after I finished college. I was in a foreign country with foreign people and my English back then was more British English with a heavy German accent..:-)
I hustled everyday first as a car sales man selling German cars then I started to learn about real estate and I became a realtor and then I learned more and I became a real estate investor and I opened up my real estate business in 1995 and I still run the business and love doing real estate...but... I never settled!
I started reading and learning again, this time about the world of smart drugs and nootropics and brain supplements. I started opening up the online business in 2016 and also love doing this. My point is that I life we can never settle down and become complacent! Some people choose to work and go home and watch TV, I choose to work and then come home and learn about other ideas and or things and don't get me wrong, watching TV sometimes is perfectly fine and I do too haha...but we always have to move forward in life and we can never become complacent, the minute we do, life will teach us a nasty lesson...so yes I totally agree with what you said.
