SiteContent - Watch the Video First

Since SiteContent was released I tried it's functions and possibilities by using the trail and error method. Still, being to afraid something could go wrong and not wanting to loose anything, I never dared to use all functions.

Today, I was made attentive to the "SiteContent - The Complete Walkthrough" blog and video by Kyle. For what ever reason I missed this one. So, I decided to watch the video and was very surprised about the functionality of some items. E.g. the bucket: I thought it was something like the recycle bin on Window. For obvious reasons, I didn't dare to click on it. Now, through Kyle's video, I got to know its real function.

So, what I wanted to tell to everybody, who has not used SiteContent yet, or who started working on SiteContent and didn't have the opportunity to watch the video, is to watch the video and get to know SiteContent inside out.

SiteContent is not only a useful tool... it is also quite fun. It makes blogging enjoyable!

If release #2 has image integration, it will not only be fun, but a MUST to use! The missing image integration is the only drawback I could figure out.
Thanks for dropping by, Hal!

this is a good point, the temptation is to get away with not reading the instruction manual when possible, but obviously not in this case then...

You are right! Not every shortcut works out well.
Thanks for stopping by, Mary!

Good post, thanks, Eric.

Wayne

Thanks Eric for the information.

My pleasure, Theo! And thanks for dropping by!

Thank you!!!!

Thanks for sharing this info. I haven't tried it yet; however, I have just finished watching the video and I plan to try it in the very near future. Up until this point, I have typed all of my content in either the post or page editor. I didn't notice anything about adding images. I suppose one would need to use the Media editor as usual. Correct?

My pleasure, Kathy! SiteContent has some great features. Only drawback is, that SiteContent can not load pictures (yet). Maybe release #2. Let's hope.
Thanks for dropping by!

You're welcome, Abdulrahman! Watch it, it's worth it!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Eric, I don't think I kept the link for it. Perhaps like you I may have missed it.

I haven't even tried it yet, I'm used to the old way. Knowing I would have to go back to add images kind of stopped me from even trying.

Thanks for posting this I think I will now take a closer look and watch the video!

My pleasure, Patsy! SiteContent has some great features. Only drawback is that SiteContent can not load pictures (yet). Maybe release #2. Let's hope.
