Saturday in two weeks me and my wife are invited to the wedding of my godson. Already today my wife asked me to tell her what and how I intend to dress for the occasion. As a good husband, I did as told 😊. When it came to the necktie, I chose a new one, which my wife offered me a few weeks ago. I normally never open the necktie button because it looks better with every use. But I had never worn this necktie, which gave me the sudden idea of changing the way I usually tie the knot.

Immediately I tried to tie a different knot: to no avail! So, what to do? The answer: Ask Google! And then I found this impressive knots, which I would like to share with you:

The Eldredge Knot

This is a very formal and unique necktie knot. Looks a bit like a flower.

The Krasny Hourglass Tie Knot

The Krasny Hourglass is called this because it looks like an hourglass and also because the guy who invented it is named Alex Krasny.

The True Love Tie Knot

This is probably one of the hardest, most complicated knots to tie. It is divided into four quadrants which gives it it’s heart shaped look.

This knot is from the loose fit range of necktie knots. It is one of the most striking looking knots that you can tie and will always attract attention.

The Linwood Taurus Tie Knot

Called the Taurus because the bit of the necktie that rolls out over the knot looks like the horns of a bull.

One of the most popular of the elaborate necktie knots, it always gets compliments from the ladies as it shows that you are creative and actually take pride in your appearance.

Those are some fancy knots for sure..... however, I do like the simplicity of the single winsor knot.

I agree with you. But from time to time it's nice to give a try to something new.
Thanks for the read, Carson.

Beautiful patterns to match the colors Eric!

As it should be, Mike!
Thanks for commenting.

Wow! You will look so fashionable, Eric :))

I'm sure no other person will have such a knot. I decided to use the Ediety Tie Knot for the wedding.
Thanks for the read, Carol.

That one will look very smart, Eric :)

Wow! you've definitely inspired me to try at least one of them!

Go ahead Daniel, try it out! Thanks for the read.

Probably the Trinity or Eldredge

Great necktie ideas and very interesting.
Aesthetically, I prefer the Trinity Tie Knot, and the Aristotle Tie Knot. The simpler the better! (not to mention less work in tying).

For business I like the Aristotle Onassis Tie Knot. I didn't try it out, but it looks very simple. I guess Onassis didn't know how to tie a knot. That's why he came up with that knot. And as he was rich and famous, it right away became stylish.
Thanks Kaju for the read.

So many ideas...

Hope you found one you like. For business I like the Onassis Tie Knot.
Thanks James for the read.

Wow, these are cool. Never seen before.
Thanks

My pleasure, Mark.

Eric, you have surpassed yourself. I find this ever so original and creative. Of course, I have passed this on to my better half and told him to start practicing as by next time he takes me out I would love to see one of these.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Well, I hope your better half will not hate me for this post. :)
Thanks for the read, Taeske.

Do not worry, my better half is very flexible.

That is just wild!!! I love the various styles!

That is like inventing a new mouse trap.

The original knot has been around for ages.

Great post.

Happy Father's Day.

Susan

Thanks Susan. I enjoyed the day.
There always have been different ways to tie the knot. But this styles are new to me too. For the wedding I decided to use the Ediety Tie Knot.
I like your analogy with the mouse trap.

I love it. Thank you

My pleasure, Pablo.
