15 Tips For Success!

Hey WAers,

I've recently reached the one year mark and so far I can say that I have really enjoyed being part of the community.

I have made some friends here that I really enjoy chatting with and bouncing ideas off of. :)

I also love the fact that I can ask questions and get quick responses from somebody within the community.

We are all here to succeed!

And it shows by how we work together in the community and help one another progress with our buisnesses.

And because of that I thought I'd share a few tips from what I have learned over my first year.

NOTE: THESE ARE NOT IN ANY KIND OF ORDER

Tip #1 - Photos Free - (SITES) https://www.pexels.com/ | https://stocksnap.io/

I have been reworking on all of my old posts and I have come to realize how much a photo can really bring out what you are trying to express in your post. I found a few royalty free websites with some very nice Stock Photos on them. Check them out if you haven't already!

Tip #2 - https://www.picmonkey.com/ - Photo Editor

This is my "Go To" tool. I know some of us don't have a photo editor at home so if you are in the need to edit photos PicMonkey is AWESOME! It has a ton of features and the best part about it is it's FREE!

Tip #3 - Thrive Theme $67 - https://thrivethemes.com/

I had another WAer tell me about this theme and I can't thank him enough.

If you are looking for a way to have full control and setup your site the way you want it then Thrive is the way to go. It is simple and everything is drag and drop, so it makes setting up a page fast, easy, and effective.

And the best part about this theme is they are always updating it and making it better!

Check it out!

Tip #4 - Speed Of Site

This is something I failed to realize in the beginning. I wanted the "Coolest" looking site out there, so I got a really cool looking theme... BUT IT WAS SOOOOOOO SLOW!

Don't get caught up on looks of the site.

You want your site to be functional, fast, and easy to naviagte. Trust me, it really makes a HUGE difference.

Tip #5 - https://logomakr.com/ Free

I actually found this from another WAer and wanted to add this to the list. It's a very simple tool to use and it can make some decent looking logos. Oh and did I mention it was Free?

Tip #6 - Landing Page

This is something important I recently discovered and something new I am working on.

Lets face it...

A lot of the times we as people need somebody to hold our hand and guide us to where we need to go.

Use your Landing Page as a way to grab your views attention and push them in the direction you want them to go.

Help them WANT to stay longer!

because you want to keep your visitors on your site for as long as you can :)

Tip #7 - Write out your goals

This is something I failed to do when I first started and it showed with my inconsistency in building my site.

Kyle says to write out your goals - and it is for good reason!

Why?

Because when you set a goal and reach a milestone there is no better feeling! It's motivating and makes you want to work harder to reach your next goal.

Give it a try!

Tip #8 - Comments/Feedback

I have realized that this is one of the most important things about building a website.

By engaging with your readers you are showing Google that people are interested in what you are writing.

AND THAT IS IMPORTANT!

So when you have a bit of free time use it to gather a few comments.

If you are sitting at home relaxing, drinking coffee, listening to music; Use that time to read a few articles and bust out a few comments.

I promise it's worth it! :)

Tip #9 - http://www.jaaxy.com/ $20 A MONTH

We all know about Jaaxy, but if you are not using it then I think you should get on it TODAY.

It's important to SEO to title your articles properly!

Now I know some of us are on a budget so here is my tip to you.

Order Jaaxy for one month and spend a few days out of the month to get AS MANY ARTICLE NAMES AS YOU CAN!

That way if you can't afford Jaaxy the following month you'll have great title names for you upcoming articles.

In addition, when you are using Jaaxy for Keywords make sure that your competition for a certain article is not an AUTHORITY SITE. Or at least the top 3 spots in google search are not run by authority sites.

Tip #10 - See your competition

When you are writing an article look at your competition and write an article BETTER then your competition.

And it can be hard...

But if you have to, do more research! Show GOOGLE that you have the best information out there!

Tip # 11 - Write Lists

This is one thing I have recently discovered. GOOGLE LOVES LISTS. So if you search google for the 'Best hair products for Men' and you see a list that has 10 hair products - MAKE A LIST THAT'S BETTER!

Give the readers an article about 15 hair products that are best for men.

Again, try and be better then your competition!

Tip #12 - Promote your work - http://www.stumbleupon.com/ | http://www.streetarticles.com/

Another thing I failed to do last year is promote my work. I figured that people would just "Find it" and it'd be smooth sailing...

But it's not always that easy!

If you are proud of your work then GET IT OUT THERE! Show people what you've written and let them enjoy your work!

Street Articles and StumbleUpon are two really great platforms to showcase your work.

Take advantage of them!

Tip #13 - Finish the Program

I know how exciting it is to get your site up and running but you have to finish the program.

And if you've already finished the program don't be afraid to refresh on some of the lessons from before.

Kyle and Carson have put together a really great site for all of us to learn from.

Take advantage of it as much as possible!

And if you haven't already check out one of the Live Videos! They are very informative and can help you when you are stuck at times.

Tip #14 - Build your site around what you are passionate about

If you are not passionate about what you are working on then it will show in your work and in your success.

THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO WRITE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO WRITE ABOUT

Take advantage of it!

And when you write your articles don't be afraid to express yourself; if you are silly, funny, intelligent use it to your advantage!

Who you are is what makes you special and people can get a sense of who you are by your writing.

As the Genie said in Aladdin, "BEE yourself".

Tip #15 - Don't give up

You are going to struggle at times... and at times its not going to be pretty...

In fact it can be very frustrating...

But use your frustrations to drive you further then before and learn from your mistakes -because you'll have many of them!

BUT DON'T EVER GIVE UP!

This is your business and one day you will get there and have the success you've always wanted!

Believe in it and do it!

Lastly, I have been reworking my website so there is not much up right now but you can come stop by if you'd like http://superiorpainmanagement.com/

And if any of you would like to discuss our success any further please feel free to add me and leave me a message. :)

Good luck on your WA journey and I hope all you have great success here!!!!!!!!!
