I am early in this current journey, so building consistently for the first conversion is what I am looking for.
Consistency is absolutely key. It’s something that’s harder to do than you think, because when you don’t initially get the views you want you start questioning everything. But the truth is you have to keep putting hooks in the water if you want the fish to bite. Learn a little more every day and make sure to grow every day as well 👍🏼💯
I stalled on YouTube, for now, but have been publishing more with a sub-niche of gear reviews. Also, got my first guest post under my belt and looking to do more. As always, seeking more traffic.
What made you stall with YouTube?
And when it comes to seeking more traffic, sure, that’s the lifeblood of every affiliate marketeing business. But it’s like being asked what you’re looking for in a relationship and answering “I want to be happy. “
Everyone wants to be happy, but you have to be more specific to determine your plan of action to find that. In that example, the question would then be “what is it specifically in a relationship that makes you happy?” Or even better, “what’s the one thing you can’t be without?” and that’s how you figure out what you’re actually looking for.
So in this case, what would you want consistent traffic to bring you? I’m guessing conversions and revenue, right? Cuz that’s the endgame of good traffic. We don’t just want views, we want those views to turn into action for our business. So it’s the conversions and revenue you’re looking for, and that can come from any number of areas, like YouTube, socials, email marketing, website traffic,.. Now which of those areas brings you the most interest if you were asked to attack just one? What aspect of getting conversions are you stalling at? Views? Engagement? Click throughs? This is where to start to make the micro adjustments your business needs 👍🏼💯
Idk man, I froze up after uploading my first video. I have a ton of YT ideas listed in my Apple notes, just need more confidence. Even though I’ve been playing for 41 years and have played hundreds of gigs, YT is a whole other beast!
Of course I want the “right” traffic but at the moment, I would be happy with just “more” traffic in general.
Don’t get cold feet over YouTube! It’s a cinch. You’re not performing for the world you’re just sharing your knowledge with people who are highly interested in it. Show off a riff, share a guitar hack… that kinda stuff gets played and replayed all the time on YouTube. Do some searches of popular videos in your niche and reimagine them. It’s wide open for you 💯

Hi Eric, great question you're asking. I am at the beginning of my journey with the niche I have picked which I have since realized it is layered and I am still busy peeling each layer to discover the sweet spot where I will be focusing on and directing my energy for growth
That’s exactly how you attack it. Stick with the training and be stubborn with your success!
