A Little Forward Progress Is Better Than None
Well, I thought I would complete my first lesson in course two tonight. Choosing a domain name is harder than I thought. It's making me think about a lot of things. What do I want my domain name to communicate over the long term? That's the question in my mind right now.
I have come up with four possibilities and they are all open at this time. I want to make a final decision by tomorrow night. I don't want to delay this important decision too long. Here are the possibilities for domain name.
Thoughts? Suggestions? I look forward to hearing from you within the next 24 hours.

I've done the domain name dance many times, so I feel your pain. I actually think you did a great job of coming up with short but good names. I think I like the first one best because it has the ring of a phrase that has been popularized i.e. "MTV Unplugged".
That being said, it also sounds more like a great brand than a keyword targeted phrase. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it depends on what your plans are for the site and what your niche is. When I hear that phrase two things come to mind, the one above which feels more like hip branding, and the concept of getting unplugged which relates to either the "cord cutters" (people that are going a way from cable tv and moving toward internet tv) and people seeking to "unplug" from technology by turning of cell phones and not using the internet if even for a few weeks.
I don't know if any of that is what you're going for, but those were my first impressions.
Thank you for your input. I really appreciate it. Italy has always been a place where my wife and I could go to getaway, albeit temporarily, from the daily stresses of being connected. That is part of what this site will be about.
