My plans and goals for the next 6 months regarding WA
So having got to Course 4, Lesson 7 of the WA training programme, I am taking a little time to reflect on just how far I have come in such a short amount of time.
I only started with WA in the new year, and so far have managed, with the guidance of my WA training, to build a nice looking website, understand how plug-ins work, the difference between pages and blog posts, how content really is king, understand much more than I ever did before about keywords, SEO, evergreen content, and social media sharing - not bad in just a few short weeks!
What I am planning to do is to use the rest of this month to continue to build my site and follow the training as I have been doing, then launch a second niche site next month from scratch, and do the same step-by-step process as I am doing now.
For the remaining 5 months I then plan to continue to build and grow both sites and make them as good as I possibly can. I think running two sites would be my limit as I still need to work in the real world, and fitting any more in would probably stretch me too far.
What I would like to ask my WA family is - how many sites do you run on average yourself? Have you ever let your enthusiasm run away with you, and ended up biting off more than you could chew?

Well done Michelle - I think I have bitten off too much actually. On my 3rd site now (I started here in late November) but have felt rather "burned out" all week and haven't written anything much except answer a few comments. My 3rd site is kind of left hanging now. Better to take it more slowly. Glyn
Yes, I think three sites would be too much for me to handle. I would rather not get overwhelmed with the responsibility of maintaining more than I can cope with.
Good luck - and I am sure you will endure, and come through the other side :)
Well done Michelle, great progress and great goals!
I've 2 sites and find that enough but I know some people manage more.
I've so many ideas I have to reign myself in or I'd soon fill the quota allowed here and not be able to give quality to any of them!
That's what would worry me Kathy. Not being to sustain the quality of numerous sites - I think I would crumple at the thought :D
Awesome goals! More importantly what a fantastic achievement in such a short time. It's all about hitting the ground running isn't it? Or in your case sprinting over the finishing line
In my experience, those that make it are focused, they take action and they interact with the community
I agree :) If I have ever been puzzled about anything, one simple question to the community has given me plenty of support.

Lost my job in November, joined in January and planned 2 sites while searching for a new job (secretly hoping I wouldn't need one)got seriously involved in the first site - still didn't find a job and the first site keeps me very busy since I am still struggling for rankings and still trying to get through all the training. I have much more to learn.
I am also hoping that my site(s) will earn me some income. I am also glad that we are getting very comprehensive training here at WA. I would have been worried if it had been less detailed, but so far so good!
Wishing you well for the future Carol :)
We are all in this together ;)
