A question a lot of new bloggers have is, 'What do I write about?'

I've struggled plenty with this one myself, but here are three simple steps I've found useful for tho

Thanks for the great ideas Elizabeth! They are resourceful, I was just thinking about how to write my next post. I didn't think of approaching it as a question to myself. I can do this. Thanks!

Thanks RaeAnne, I'm glad it helped! I'm always looking for new strategies to beat writers block lol. I'm sure your next post is going to rock it!

Thanks! I'm surely trying! Lol

I get ideas from what people on my Facebook list are up to. Currently I have four people trying to get me on board their health products business, so they obviously need leads. My next post is going to let them in on the secrets of generating leads, and is going to appear as if by magic in my Facebook feed :)

Such a good idea, finding a hole that needs to be filled and then filling it! Thanks for sharing :)

That's a great idea!

In season stuff winter coats boots summer bathing suits fall sweaters what I buy online how can I sell it I am cheap what makes me buy something

Yes, thinking about it from the perspecitve of our own experience as a consumer! Great idea, thanks :)

I haven't got any referrals, so why does My stats show a lot of clicks? I've only got two links out there on social media and I know from that side that only a couple of people

Thanks for responding guys. I think it might be a combination of both, as it's clicks for raw, unique and content. Most of them are raw and unique, double digits. It's interesting; too bad they're not referalls ;)

People may be finding links to your WA content while doing searches. They can then click on those links to read the content without signing up for a WA account. That will get you a click without a referral.

It depends on which of your stats are pulling in clicks? If it is the one that says 'content' that means that people here within WA are clicking on your content that you have created such as blog posts and asked questions.

Hi all,

I'd like to share some WA content on my facebook page, but if I'm using facebook as my page, the 'like' button at the top of, say a WA training or blog post, sas

it is normal because your facebook privacy is not allowed to open in any app or link so you need to log in first. When you do that you will receive notification in your facebook account it's all fine :)

Ah, I understand! Thank you so much for clearing this up, I didn't realize the solution would be so easy ;) You've saved me a headache Rene, cheers!

Hi guys, my brains are about to explode from looking through themes and I feel like I'm wasting time that could be spent on content. I'm easy on most aspects, I just really wan

I use MyThemeShop themes and most of them have the option for floating headers and sidebars and all of those sorts of bells and whistles.

I've never had a major problem with them, and when I have their customer service has always helped me fix it, or fixed it themselves.

Thanks Dustin, I will check them out :) I finally realized I should be googling for 'fixed header' not 'floating header' lol but I still haven't found one, so hopefully MyThemeShop can help!

Have a great week :D

If you're interested in them, I do have a few reviews on my site you could check out. I won't link to them here directly, but you should be able to find them by googling "MyThemeShop Review". I should be in the #2 spot... And I have a coupon code you could use if you'd like in that review.

But, do your research and don't go with them just because I said so! :)

Let me know if you have any questions... Or leave a comment on my site.

Thanks Dustin, I definitely will and if I decide to go with them I'd love a coupon code :) I'll look into them tomorrow and let you know. Have a great night!

Hi Dustin, just wanted to let you know I checked out the themes :) They weren't exactly what I'm looking for but I'll keep them in mind for the future as they all looked great in their own right. I did finally find one I like, and the developer agreed to fix the header for me.
Thanks for the suggest and have a great week!
Elizabeth

No problem!

Sorry I didn't really know about that kind theme. Theme choice has never a really in depth topic (as long as it is a responsive one) in WA, so if you have a certain requirement about choosing a theme, the best place to find it is by googling.

I google some of my theme choice e.g.: best theme for news website, best theme for book review, theme with magazine layout, etc. There are plenty recommendations just choose whatever suits you :)

Thanks Everlight, I appreciate the input. I've about googled my brains out, I feel like I'm just searching for wrong search terms maybe, lol. I'll keep trying though. Cheers!

Hi all,

Setting up my first website! I've seen sites where the 'About' page is about the site/company, it's purposes, why it was established, etc...then I've seen things

Think about how you are going to be writing your content and portraying your website to your readers.

If you're going to be writing content that is coming from you as a person, your thinking, your experiences, your opinions, etc. then I think N "About Me" page where you let people know who you are and why they should listen to you and trust you would be much better.

However, if your content is going to be coming from "your company" only, or your not going to frame it as coming from you personally, then just an "About" page, where you explain the website and it's purpose, without any personal details would work.

Thanks Dustin, that makes a lot of sense. Appreciate the insight :)

I did an about website page, but talked about my purpose of creating the website.

That's a good idea, too, thanks:) I think I might go that direction. I think I have writer's block lol.

Hi Elizabeth and congratulations on joining WA.
Personally I have an "About Me" page because I think people like to be able to relate to "someone" but I am now in the process of writing an "about this site" page to add to my menu and use as a means to promote my WA affiliate links.
You know you can share some information about yourself without giving you complete family history ;-)
Have a great day,
John.

Thanks John, I appreciate the input :)
