In the last 10 to 20 mins my info has just disappeared. It appears in another window if I click preview but the editing spot in the dash is blank, help please

Try to log out and re-log in to Wordpress and make sure your Internet Browser is reasonably up-to-date.

most of it is back to normal

Before you know it, you will be a pro a this. record all the steps

Unfortunately it happens sometimes,
Keep cool, if you see it in text and on your site it's ok.

There are few solutions for this.
Logout and close your tabs with your site, then go back to WA and open your site again.
You can clear your cache (in your browser) in between - this can also help.

Sometimes you need a reboot.

Sometimes open it in special mode "privacy"/"incognito" - so your site will be logged in in completely fresh environment, or switch browsers for short period of time.

Sometimes it needs time and will go away by itself...

Hope it helps.

Thanks a mil. It did come back after trying a million things lol, don't know which worked.

Any change? have you experimented with a different theme?

Did not change the theme but it is back

Good troubleshooting!
Ed

I guess this is Visual mode in editor? So clear recent history in browser, this usually helps. Many people have this problem.

Yes this is visual mode in the editor. Text shows in text mode but blank in visual. How and where do I do this?

You see the tab 'history' in your browser, next to bookmark.

Hey I think I did it but not where you said itd be, pc seems different. After some time it came back, alls well now thank you.

I thought that your total visits and sessions would keep rising as your site progresses. Even though the graph shows that I get daily visits to the website, the overall totals

Looks like you have enough help!

Hi,
how long have you been using Google Analytics and at what time span are you looking at when you are using it?

The default setting is, that it looks at the last 30 days.
So when you had more visitors in August than you had in September, the graph will go down to show that.

The graph reads correct. The totals drop every day. They were rising from the first launch of the site but now are dropping.

Without really seeing it, it will be difficult to say what's going on.
You could put in some screenshots.

And like I asked before:
For how long have you been using Google Analytics?

I cannot see the date as the graph would not let me scroll back but it is about 2 months. Unsure on how to do screen shots

When you go to the very top on the Google Analytics site, you see the range of days that are displayed at the moment, which is usually one month.

Click on that and you can change it to see the total of your visitors.

This training here might help, too.

I did not ask where do I see the totals, I said the totals are falling every day. Thanks anyway for trying.

I know.
But it just seems to me that you might not look at the "real" totals but only at the totals of one month.
And those totals can drop if they are lower than the once from the month before.
Seems like a misunderstanding of the data Google Analytics is showing you.
That's why the training I sent you above might clear things up.

Ok I think I get you now. you seem to be saying that the totals I see here directly under the graphs are only for the last months' span. I think I have to use the drop box with the calendar days setup to find the true total by clicking from the first date to the present right?

Yes, that's what I was trying to say. ;)

Example from my site:
Within 30 days I had 700 visitors, but then I had some days that were not so good, so after a few days my "total visitors" were only 650 then.

You can change the time span that Google Analytics shows you.

Gotcha! thanks a mil Moritz. How much do you know about SEO? I think mine needs some work. I am now getting an error and notice a mark fall in visits

When I view some other websites, they seem to fill up the whole screen while others seem to be more roomy. I am wondering if it is more than just the theme you are using. For e

The more spacious, the better. Too crowded tend to chase people off.

If you travel to Japan, or Okinawa, look at their art and imagery.

You need to think about how your site will look on many devices, and if others can see the spaces on both sides. If you put things there, they may not be able to see them. There are standard screen sizes, and there are responsive themes and settings where you can use the whole screen, and it will adjust to the size of the screen of the user (desktop and mobile). You can look online for web design and screen size articles and opinions.

Ok I will consider that, thank you.
