Too many Niches

Ok, taking a breather here. Im about to learn about visuals. The training is awesome, and I feel like Im getting ahead of myself. I have 4 niche ideas and its getting a little messy.

Niche one is for people who need help with Cptsd which I now feel isn't ok to make money from, (Unless I train as a therapist) and its so personal Im getting a little bogged down there, so its on a back burner. Its also an easy condition to give the wrong advice for. It might end up as a site I do purely to serve others and cathartic for me, and be supported by my other ventures financially.

The second niche is related to the piano teaching I have done for years; how to give 4-7 year olds the best start. It is easy for me to write about, research and offer real value, and Id love to get a few products of my own on there eventually that I already use in my own teaching. And Im a little bogged down in the idea that I just want to do something completely new and I don't really know anything after all. I know, there is a whiff of self sabotage and monkey-brain there ;).

The third niche came left field this week -it is conquering piano performance anxiety, as I am currently making hypnotherapy audios for myself, and it would be VERY fun to share them having used myself as a guinea pig.

The fourth niche from left field today is sharing something that is literally just for fun for me; reading resources for 'modern day witches'. I like the idea of this because it would be based on my personal reviews and tastes and sharing awesome book finds, without the 'pressure' I associate with the other niches.

My experience of the training so far is this; everything I do on my two already existing sites is amazing, I have learnt SO much, and I am so excited to imagine where I will be a year from now with it all.

I also know that as I get more proficient with the nuts and bolts, I will naturally find it easier to hone my niches, focus and feel confident. Ive just got to keep going.

So, there it is, I'm in a 'great problems to have' moment, airing it here so it feels a little less crazy! ;)

..and the good news is, my first content rich post is published! And I love it! Woo!

(in niche 2 if anyone is dying to know)

Just choose one that attract you the most to write about it. Follow your dream and your passion.

They all sound as if there is interest in all of them!

I, myself, would never promote the fourth niche, but, hey, do what you know...

Monkey brain, love it! haha It's a musician thing no doubt, as I've been diagnosed with that too!

Here's a suggestion in getting started with developing a niche. To initially determine what affiliate programs are available for a specific niche, go to your browser bar. Now type affiliate program + piano teaching (or whatever your niche is). From there you will find the affiliate programs that are available.

Now if you go to the WA Keyword Tool, you can start to learn which keywords (single and long tail) will work best. This combination should help you determine domain name, site structure and content.

Hope this helps! :-)

It's is great to have lots of ideas and possible directions. It is also great to offer information and resources free for the benefit of others. It is your business(es) and you can build them however it pleases you. My guess is the same brain that has given you these powerful niche ideas will also lead you the one(s) you need to work on first.

Thanks for the encouragement Jlennon, thats a wonderful boost!
