Do you work on the weekends?

Working on the weekends is a normal thing for me. It does not mean that I don't have challenges, with both kids ready to do something or tons of housework that I neglected throughout the week.

The way I have figured out to manage all of my "hats" for a housekeeper, mom, chef, and work has been to create a schedule. Normally the day prior or in the morning, depending on how much has to be done Satuday and Sunday.

My normal weekends look like:

9:00 AM - Waking up and breakfast for everybody

9:30 AM - Getting after the kids for yelling down from the balcony while I try to check e-mail

9:40 AM - Figuring out what has to be done for the day

10:00 AM - Cleaning the house (yes I'm procrastinating right now, because I don't want to do it)

12:00 PM - Lunch

12:30 PM - Time with the kids

2:00 PM - Send the trouble makers outside to play with friends while I work

5:30 PM - Dinner

And the rest of the night is spent with the kids till my S.O. comes home, which then means watching a movie or catching up on tv shows.

Since I normally work 8-10 hours a day during the week, getting a little bit done during the weekend is a decent work-life balance for me.
