Travels With My Daughter
Today I would like us to take a look at an interesting word. While it really has only one definition, people do tend to use the word uniform in many contrasting ways.
Now Let Have Definition Time
First off let's look at the definition of uniform- not changing in form or character but remaining the same in all cases and at all times.
Now It's Adventure Time
Sunday I went on an adventure with my daughter to buy uniforms for my granddaughter to wear to school. Now the school my granddaughter will be going to MUST wear uniforms to school in red, black, gray, and white for their shirts. And then black or khaki for their bottoms.
First we walked to the mall about 20 minutes away so we could catch the bus to the store. This is where we were going to buy her uniforms.
My daughter selected 6 shirts of the above colors and then 2 pairs of black pants, 2 pairs of khaki pants. Then since it's hot right now she also got 2 pairs of black short and 2 pairs khaki shorts. She already has skorts at home she can wear.
My daughter has to go to meet the teacher night at the new school so she is hoping she can order a jacket then. So now my granddaughter is all decked out in new uniforms for school.
What About WA
So do we ever use the word uniform in WA? I have heard it many times. If you can't think or remember hearing the EXACT word uniform how about stable, static, fixed, identical, similar, consistent. Now are you getting the picture!!
This is just a short and interesting (at least to me) blog that I have written.
