New Office Ideas

This is going to be a quick blog. I think I might have found some new office ideas so I can blog and work on my websites.

Let me explain what I'm trying to say. Today the weather is cold. In fact the last few months have been cold weather and our new apartment is VERY COLD.

My Previous Plan

In my bedroom, I set up an office area which I read is very helpful.

In my previous apartment my office space was the kitchen table so when my granddaughter got home from school she would also do her homework there. We would eat meals there, and the table also became command central for puzzles, board games, play dough, snacks time and get together. In other words, I had to share a lot. Now don't get me wrong I have no problem with sharing but I just needed a space to write and sometimes a quiet place.

When we were moving in I was planning a special spot just for my own writing area. I envisioned this to be a perfect solution!!

Now that the winter has set in I really can't use it because as you can see from the picture I placed it in front of the window. I wanted a thought-provoking view and a peaceful place to write.

New Idea

Today I bundled up and walked to the mall which is close to the apartment.

Inside the mall they have a sitting area which has outlets and tables. I was thinking that since this is a " work from anywhere" business that I could just bring my laptop here and work. When I need to stretch my legs I can just put my laptop in my backpack and walk around the mall.

Here is a picture of the wonderful set up that is here. I would only have to be using this for about 1 or 2 months.

Hey this is Texas where we were 70 degrees yesterday and in the 20 today so it may not be needed for long at all.

I don't want to take pictures of all the tables and chairs because there are many people in here. So I will tell you. There are 5 large tables and chairs on each side of the escalator plus 4 stuffed chairs with charging stations at them.

There is also an air hockey table in the grouping.

This may really work out great for the winter months!!

In Conclusion

I have made many new discoveries. My previous apartment I had an "office" that was in the center of everyone else and that needed to change.

In my new place I set aside a special place for an office but it wasn't beneficial in the winter months. But I didn't give up and found a solution. WA is truly a "work from anywhere" business so I will take that motto to the mall.

The mall has:

*Tables and Chairs

*Exercise Area

*Charging Stations

*Other People

Who knows people may start asking what I'm doing and maybe I can get referrals!
