Notification Hanging Up - has anyone else seen this happen?
I've had this weird phenomenon happening since last night, and on two entirely different computers so I've ruled out my cache.
I have a notification that will not go away after I click on it and respond to it. Don't get me wrong Jewel ... you're the greatest but your stuck in my notification box. :o See Below:
Also when I click on the notification it opens a new Windows tab to arrive at the location of the comment. This is significant because when I click on all other notifications they open in the current Windows tab. See Below:
This cycle will repeat itself over and over with the same result. has anyone else seen this or know how to fix it?
I would have put this in as a question but then I could not add the images.

The trainings are not countiing the views either, I have hundreds of likes on my last 5 trainings and no views, and also over 2 months ago since they have been approved too
OK - Loes you've just made me feel way better because I just had the exact problem that I wrote this blog about (that went away - see below) and now is back but with TechniSmart instead of Jewel. :( the strange thing is that location if I click on the notification is still going to the same TopAchiever blog lol

I'll tell you what Loes, they are better than some big places I've worked for (some hospitals) in the past. Kudos to them!

Heck if I don't get it fixed I'll just keep seeing Jewel all day, what a marketing tool huh ...

Strange. Would it be possible to go to Jewels' profile, unfollow her, reboot your system then follow her again to see if it removes the glitch. Just a thought.

No or maybe yes.. In Chrome you know you have to click advanced settings to have a decent removal of your cache?
Then the next step is: uninstall your java runtime - reboot - install the latest version of the java runtime...

I didn't do the java runtime deal but before I found your post, in my notifications of course, I noticed the notification in question is gone ... Sorry Jewel but your no longer stuck on my notifications.
And Bert, if you really have 53 steps I'd love to have you send me them ... you can PM if you choose.

It was a joke, but when I would brainstorm very hard, I think I might get there, but is is a very long road to 53, so I am not going to challenge myself... ;-)

Nope, but thanks Pete. All of the other notifications work like normal, in fact I've gone through several dozens since I noticed the problem with this one single one. It's got me baffled and I though for certain the cache had something to do with it, but nope on that too.
