Everybody kept saying it would if I kept on doing what I was doing, and they were right.

I got my first affiliate sales through my niche web site. Three purchases on one click. It happened on April 7, but I did not find out about it until yesterday. The click through came not from Google but from Bing. Oddly enough, the products purchased had absolutely nothing to do with my niche.
