Dec 2015 Update: Huge improvement in Google Rankings Within 1 Month

Just want to write a little update on my Google search analytics progress. I've been keeping at it and attempting to write one post a day, but I haven't really kept myself accountable until about 2 months back.

For the past 2 months, I've been averaging about 5 blog posts a week and using Jaaxy as keyword tool to help with my keyword research.

Also, I've been using fetch as Google to submit my new posts as soon as I posted them to get them indexed as soon as possible.

As a result, my website visibility has increased a lot and I've been getting a lot more clicks than the previous month.

Here's the breakdown of my site's search traffic for the past month:

Total clicks to website: 627 (+583 from last month)

Total impressions, i.e. the number of times my site appeared in search results: 8,390 (+7,683 from last month)

Average CTR, i.e. the percentage of people clicking to my site based on search results: 7.47% (+1.25% from last month)

Average position, i.e. the average ranking of my site in google results: 39.9 (+79.6 from last month)

Granted, my CTR is still on the low side at only 7.47% (that's because the results in first page will get almost 95% of total traffic, see the table below from MOZ CTR study)

I have a few posts ranking on the first page of Google, and I have also seen improvement in the ranking of many other posts over the last month. It will take some time before Google recognizes my site's authority and bring up the overall rankings.

I will keep on writing new contents and give another update a month from now.
