Image editing OS X

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would share a quick program for those who need a good image editing program but don't need the bloat or sophistication of Photoshop or Gimp.

Recently I came across a program for OS X that is based on GIMP. It provides a simple interface and is only 15MB compare that to GIMP which is close to 200MB and Photoshop which is gargantuan.

Check out Seashore here: http://seashore.sourceforge.net/The_Seashore_Project/About.html

Interesting. I love GIMP and Inkscape.

Too bad I'm a PC user. Designed around the MAC OSX

There may be options for PC users since GIMP works on OS X or Windows but I have not looked for one.

Thanks for the share - will bookmark and check it out later. I have GIMP, but I would love to find something that is in between Paint and GIMP, in terms of options and learning curve. You know... more options than Paint, but less complicated than Photoshop/GIMP. Perhaps Seashore will be something along those lines.

That is exactly what I was looking for when I ran across this program. Let me know what you think.

Oops... just realized I skimmed too quickly the first time. Didn't notice it was for OS X only! I'm a PC user. Oh well.

Thank you for sharing
