Traditional Marketing that has been with us for a long time is being forced to change its Mode of Operation. Because of diversification of all Delivery Methods, how do they pinpoint their audience? The Question then becomes, “What is Marketing’s Future?

Personally, I prefer online shopping. When I discovered how convenient it was, and it helped to avoid the "flu" and crowds at XMas and the long lines to check, I was in! Online has been my only method outside of grocery shopping for years. Traditionally, I fought the "wired world" and didn't want to submit to the system it represented. But there is no choice, and honestly, it is very convenient, let alone the gas you save driving. If you target the market strategically, using an almost scalpel-l like precision to stand out in the crowd, you'll make it. I checked out how many headlines and tags were redundant. The opportunity lies in making it "pop" out, and then of course, quality web content.

I agree with what you say. There have been surveys don't where 75% of the people surveyed say they will continue to shop online after the pandemic. These are people that hardly ever shopped online for one reason or another . But, the pandemic forced a change , that made them step out of their comfort zone to try online shopping which then lead them to trust , embrace it and love it. It for now is a shopping trend that is here to stay . We can see from past what happened to stores and companies as Sears that did not adjust to change when the all in one shopping experience developed with the emergence of Walmart. If you want to stay in business you have to adjust with the times. So we may find the businesses that survive will be those that embrace online shopping. So there has never been a better time or opportunity tohave an affiliate marketing business.
A lot of businesses didn't have the heart to continue or the wrong people running the busness: Like Sears, General Motors was the leader until they decided that there wasn't enough money in small cars & we see where that got them, IBM decided they didn't want to mess with Personal Computers, there still in the game but not the way they used to be. Covid has changed the landscape for Marketing consequently there will be a lot of opportunities out there.
