So close, I can taste it!
So, you won't know who King Julian is if you either 1) don't have kids, and/or 2) have never seen any of the Madagascar movies. However, this quote from that lovable character sums up where I am in the process...
My website is done, I have about six great posts (I was formerly a high school English teacher, so writing content comes naturally to me), I've joined an affiliate network, and I'm working on one more solid post with a low-competition keyword before I start linking some products to my website. Wish me luck! I feel like the sky's the limit, and I wonder why more people that I know aren't doing this...

Great job! I'm very familiar with the Madagascar movies because I have kids. The people I'm around aren't doing this because they like to pursue predictable paths that are clearly laid out. Affiliate marketing is a underrated business model and it has exploded into possibility because of the internet and "affiliate links". Before, you'd receive referral commissions only if the person mentioned your name. They'd have to say "Tdomena referred me" and it was rare for business owners to reward that. Now, it's a whole new ballgame and many people aren't hip to it. We're on the beginning curve of a revolution in my opinion.
I totally agree!
