Have so far referred 24 persons but not even one has become a premium member. Is there something I am not doing right?
see you have had some good feedback, bit like a roulette wheel one spin and only so many win... it will come just takes time
It is a numbers game. I've gotten over 100 but only 4 have gone premium. Most people are looking to make money quick when they check out WA, but when they see it's actual work that goes into it most won't bother. As long have you have good and fresh content you will start attracting less tire kickers.
Thanks Terell, it surely is a numbers game. just will continue to bring people in to check out WA and surely some will jump on board very soon.
I agree with Leo, in sales you have a high number out of 100 that you may get interested to a certain point, but only a select few will join. :))
It's a number game - on average 8 out of every 100 people will go premium.
But that is not in stone - no one can tell you with absolute certainty. You could have 24 people that took a look and they were not ready to go premium - this is not to say some of them won't in the future.
Don't focus on the 24 - focus on getting more and more people to come check out the WA - the more people you have coming to the WA the higher your conversion numbers will be.
If they are coming to your website and your content is getting them to come to the WA to check it out then that's the first big step.
Also make sure you have your welcome message set up to greet your new referrals and that message also includes telling them you are here to help them in any way.

Hello David, they are mainly from facebook advertising and other ptc ad sites, hope that is not the problem?

You need to drive traffic to your Website!
I'm not saying what you're doing is wrong, but if you spend time building your content and your business, you may get a higher ratio. The people from those sites don't have a feel for you. You're just pretty much recruiting and bringing them in. You're trying to help people build a business and you need to build value and trust with them and that comes through your site.

Just a suggestion.... Have you contacted each one of them, congratulated them for checking out WA, and then seeing if anyone needed any help or assistance in their training. I think the more you show your involvement in what they are doing, the more likely they are to give it a real shot. Just my opinion. :)
Thank you Michelle, I think that is an awesome idea, but I can only contact them by writing on their profile walls, there is no way of getting their emails to send them personal emails unless I am missing something.
Writing on their profile walls works fine. That is how Kyle and Carson left welcome messages to all of us, so there shouldn't be a problem there. If it were me, I'd be welcoming them as soon as I knew they got here. You could send them a PM as well. Just let them know you haven't forgotten about them. It is just the way I would do it. :)

You are not doing something wrong, what you are doing is leaning that not all traffic is created equal
One of the biggest mistakes people make when dealing with online marketing is traffic
Many people are saying its a numbers game, marketing is not a numbers game its a targeting game
You don't want traffic you want quality traffic or buyer traffic
Putting links out there without pre-selling them is why you are not getting sign ups, you are getting window shoppers and get rich quick seekers because you are marketing to window shoppers and get rich quick seekers
Try and get to know the type of person you would like to market to write down all the traits of the kind of person you want to market to and start to narrow down your marketing to more lazier targeted traffic
Numbers tell you how many people clicked your links they don't tell you why they did not sign up to premium
Numbers don't tell you why people do things, they don't tell you how they feel and what motivates them
Build relationships with people on your blog, teach them things give away your best content then you will attract the right kind of person
Give away first then sell
