So, I'm pretty proud of myself. I asked a business, whose product I liked, to offer an affiliate program. They are seriously considering it!
Ok, so I'm still really new at this, and maybe this is highly unorthodox, but through researching for my new website, I found a product that I want to promote because I am about to use it and I believe in it. So, I emailed this small company, and asked if they would consider letting me be an affiliate for the product.
The response was excellent. "Actually", they said, "it would be really easy for us to set that up. We probably wouldn't be able to offer much, as the cost of the product is mostly shipping, but it is a great idea. Could you direct me to your website so I can have a look?"
YIPPEE! She is asking to go to my website. How great is that?
Of course, I'm not quite ready for her to see my website, but I asked if I could have until the weekend to make it really slick before I allow her to see it and decide if it is worth going through the process of making me an affiliate.
