Not being indexed....
I have my site up for a couple of weeks now and I still wasn't indexed by Google....Hence near zero traffic.
Today I decided to have a stab at the Webmaster Tools to see what the heck was going on.
And there it was: Total Times Indexed: 0
Ok I have my All in one SEO plugin installed and activated as was explained in Certification course 1. So what was going on?
Decided to check my sitemap. You guessed it; there wasn't a sitemap....
So after some more Googling I found that you still have to activate the sitemap feature in the SEO plugin. (I have my own server/installation, not through WA).
I have my site up in google webmaster tools now (including sitemap) and await indexing by Google.
I hope my experience will benefit someone else!

You don't need a sitemap to get indexed. In fact, my bootcamp website does not have it and it gets some of the top rankings in the industry.
One thing you can do to speed up indexing it is to share each page/post socially as you create it and continue building content. If you sit and wait, your content will not get indexed. It comes down to building out quality content, getting exposure to this content initially through social mediums, and you will start to get indexed (it can take up to 2 weeks initially).
Webmaster tools is covered later on in the training for a reason. It is far too early to be adding a sitemap and will create far too much confusion.
You can't learn everything in 10 lessons, that is why we have many courses dedicated to this and as you go through you will come together.

Thanks for your explanation. There is plenty of content to get indexed by now. The site is up for more than 2 weeks so that probably isn't it. I will do some more social media exposure in the next days as that might be lacking.
