New Lead Generation Chatbot for my website
Just been setting up a new custom chatbot for my website. Not really a chatbot in the sense you ask it questions, but rather it's an alternative solution to boring, boring forms to gather leads for Wealthy Affiliate (or any other offer for that matter).
I can embed videos and present information with much more flexibility than a standard 'landing/squeeze page'.
It's also possible to embed bots within posts or pages on my website, making posts truly interactive.
This is a screenshot from the first page of the bot, giving two choices. Clicking the top one moves on to the next blocks, clicking the bottom one thanks them for their time (with a cheery message 😎).
I ask them for an email address in the bot thread later on (with a sweetener). I get sent a notification. It can be linked with a CMS like Mailchimp or Getresponse (there are about 40 different possibilities, along with Zapier).
At the end, I ask them whether they want Free training or Paid training. When they click either, they are taken to the Wealthy Affiliate homepage (all ready in time for the new Niche mods).
At the moment I only have one 'chatbot' for Wealthy Affiliate, but it should be possible to create a bot for any affiliate product being promoted, making the site much more interesting and 'sticky'. The potential customer can be given the information he/she is interested in, using branched logic, and much more flexibility.

cool I have a chatbot too, I had to take it down temporarily because the CSS on the bot was affecting the sites CSS but it basically was an embedded chatGPT assistant that helped and then provided a link to wherever they needed to go.
People use it. I haven't directed to links that I can track so that's one thing I can improve. Thanks for the reminder.
It will be interesting to see how this works out for you. I agree that the concept looks promising.

There's going to be a lot of experimentation involved. I'll have to make a custom link to trace bot conversions.

I've had to iron out a few things.
The bot is controlled by a little 99k plugin. I can then decide which pages/posts it shows up on, or if I just want a default bot on all pages/posts. I can also preview the bot on other pages, external to my own website. This allows me to offer it to clients who may appreciate a demo.
