Authoring & Writing Content

I think I recall in the training that we should create posts and pages in Site Content.

Is this correct?

I’ve noticed that posts and pages are different o

I use WordPress, but I started my sites before WA had SiteContent. Lots of people like SiteContent these days!

As for posts vs pages, here are how they are different: Hope this helps Doug!

Thanks Nathaniell! You are the best. I am glad to be on your team.

Site Content is very useful to manage all the content you have before publishing into your WP site(s) and it has some tools to check grammar, plagiarism etc...

When you published into WP, the formatting may need to be adjusted depending on the theme you used. I usually add images on WP and make any final adjustments there.

Posts allows comments while pages do not but I am sure there are more differences that my simple definition here.

I use Site Content as my planning and content writing and staging platform prior to publishing on my WordPress websites.

Great information!! Thanks for helping me out.

The beauty of WA is that we can set our own journeys, Site Content is to be recommended, in fact, all of the suites in WA are to be recommended.

If you are setting out to create an online presence then in the initial phases focus on WA and the available resources.

I am probably biased,

Alex,
Thanks for helping me out.

I love Site Content as I set my writing goals there and I love however it's up to each individual
Some like using WP, others have page builders they work from directly
Enjoy trying different things to see what you like more

After I select an image that I want to use on a page how do I put the image into my page document. There does not appear to be an “add” button!! Help

Hi - with your post open in Site Content, once you have selected your image, it should say "save and insert" at the bottom.

However, are you trying to add it after you have already published the post? If so, you can't do this. You need to add it through WordPress.

This applies to any editing. Once published, you can't make changes through Site Content.

Diane,
Thanks for your help. I’ll go back and try again. I don’t recall seeing a “save and insert” button at the bottom of the page.
