Mastermind Friday
Napoleon Hill wrote about the mastermind group principle as: "The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony."
I've mentioned the MM concept before but thought I would share some thoughts again on my personal experience. I have several local mastermind groups I work with for my small business. One is my core group - one person actually, my "accountability buddy" who I connect with about every other day. We make sure each other is working toward the goals we've written down and committed to for our businesses. Then we meet once a week for coffee to further our commitment. We review mission statements, short and long-term goals, etc. It's hard to fudge or be a slacker when you're face-to-face with your accountability buddy!
The second group is a small business group of 10 members and we meet every two weeks. One of us takes the "hot seat" while the others grill them with questions/critiques on business goals set and achieved, marketing plans implemented, tool used, experts consulted as needed, etc. We also, as a group, discuss other small business and online sales tactics and strategies. Then end with goal-setting for next meeting.
Finally, I consider WA my third mastermind group. There are tags for it here so Kyle, Carson and the rest appear to be are all over it! I've gotten to know some of you well enough to share in private chats and read in blogs about triumps, defeats and comebacks. Very good stuff. So next time you need some inspiration or just a good jolt of reality, contact your mastermind group, prepare to receive but also prepare to give!
Awesome weekend to all, BE$T, Dan

This is a great idea. Working with others creates synergy so that the outcome produced is greater than the sum of that produce by each individual alone. Thanks for sharing. David
Thanks and same to you ;-)
