I'm challenging the age issue (too young or too old) to remove it as a roadblock to success. Our age can't keep us from jumping into a new group, learning new skills or stop us from getting outside our comfort zone. We make the choice to be successful and find our path.
With my consulting business, I network with other small business owners every 2 weeks. We share opportunities and challenges. I'm witnessing storefront, online businesses and blogs being started and run successfully by millennials to extreme seniors. All have unique niches but we have one thing in common - we are choosing to be in the game! I met one guy this week with an on-line real estate site and we may work together in the future. He's a great new contact for me and I made it because I was in the game. I chose to be a bit uncomfortable, make a connection and learn something new.
I see this tribe on WA - from newbies to seasoned - and know that with creative work, I can achieve success. I can develop another stream of income for my family and build our financial security - and it will have nothing to do with age.
