Coffee break.

So yesterday I met a potential client for at my local coffee to discuss a real estate deal she's pursuing and how I might help. I prefer having meetings over coffee as I get distracted when lunch/dinner comes and my focus changes from client to food!

Our 30 minute meeting turned into 3 hours. We had a lot in common regarding work, career, family and core beliefs (yeah, you can cover lots of ground in 3 hours). Knew lots of the same people and we both are pursuing small business careers and working several streams of income. I mentioned my Amazon store and affiliate marketing but timing wasn't appropriate to take things any further. (Like with WA)

That's why morning coffee meetings and the focus they bring are very important to me. And I see so many others in the coffee shops I get to whether a Starbucks or "Coffee on the Corner" in my town of Poulsbo, WA. So for those who may not have tried it lately, have your next meeting at your favorite coffee shop. Meet a business associate, mastermind group, friend - or just go by yourself - doesn't matter. Just soak up the aroma and get inspired.

BE$T, Dan

Great idea, Dan. Keep up the good work.
Marcel...

It is about being with people, listening to them, and collaborating to make this world a better place. That is what life is all about. Thus, a coffee shop is a great place to do all of the above. Have a wonderful day. David

I sure agree with that, David. It does make the world a better place and just starts with two people at a time. BE&T, Dan

By the way, what does BE&T mean. David

David, It means "Best of wealth" like "Best regards" or "Best of health", but I spelled the short version wrong here. Should be "BE$T". Just something I've used with posts like this for some time. Maybe it's distracting and takes away from the message...you've pointed out something interesting here. Trying to be clever or end with a tag line may not help the reader, just our ego. I'll think on that some more. Thanks! Dan

It was fine. It was the spelling that threw me off. Nothing wrong with it. David
