Adsense not making much sense
Hey friends ,
After following all the Adsense guidelines , I got a notice saying Congratulations your site is approved you can now start displaying ads on your website..Well you couold imagine my excitement. however it was short lived as no ads are displaying and my adsense dashboard is greyed out!
A day later they email another notifying me that my site is now not approved cause they couldn't connect it. That just makes no sense to my brain whatsoever !?
There is no support and the help section doesn't seem to lead anywhere but to more sub menus.
My theme support instructed me where to place the code and I so I did, but after the first dissaproval Youtube has now disabled monetisation and I cant turn it back on.
Can anyone please help me with how I contact these elusive characters or if you know how to fix it this frustrating issue, that'd be much appreciated.

Has your site been verified by Google? The is the first thing that has to be done.

Yes and they confirmed this and gave me the code, but all the sidepanel settings are greyed out.
I meant in Google Search Console, not Adsense, is your site confirmed there?
I've looked in my main google account but I don't see anything relating to adsense approval. Where exactly am i supposed to be looking ? Google search tab just opens a standard google browser search tab.
Verification by Google is required before you can put adsense on your site. Indexing is automatic but verification needs a meta tag or html on your site for google to verify you are the owner of that site, has that been done is what I am asking?
Yes, I placed the code in my sites header> then I received an email saying congratulations you have been approved, ads are now live. My adesense dashboard shows, still under review and no ads show on my site...
So when you go into Google Search console is this what you have? For your site of course not mine.
Hey, I couldnt remember to access the search console. All I see is the property I created. No adsense info.
I just dug deeper into webmaster central, and I can see in search settings it shows Google analytics verified.
You won't see Adsense there. You have to verify your site first. Then you can add Adsense code to your site by logging into Adsense. Google search and Adsense are two different entities but you can't do Adsense until you have done the Google verification.

Search console just shows my site. I had to search for it in web master tools. I found a few options and it clearly showed Google analytics is verified but no adsense info.
Log in here and get your ad codes to put into your website;
google(dot)com/adsense/
With search console you click on your site and then at the top right you click on the cog and you will see verification details, click on that.
I have to sign off now but if you have any other issues I'll look at them in the morning, it's night here.

However, I had done all of your suggestions you posted above previously. Adsense has greyed out my ad options and just shows the code and site is under review..
The next thing is to try to contact them by phone. It's not easy to do but it is possible and get it resolved that way. Also check that you have read their rules first. There may be some things about what ads you can run.
