SENUKE?
I saw on one of the blogs Carson said its a scam of a product, but then going back through the certification courses again I see one of the lessons is about using backlinks from social bookmarking sites to speed up the ranking process, which is essentially what SENUKE does.
Thoughts?

I'd stay away from anything that has the word 'Nuke' in it..
Yes, they deliver backlinks in an automated formula and attempt to make it as 'natural' as possible so the backlinks hopefully stick.
But be aware, this application and the process of its use is certainly short lived.
Why?
What would stop a Google anti-spam employee from signing up to SEONUKE and collecting the data they give? That employee can then report back to the anti-spam team and essentially do a backlink audit trail to see the sites that are being used for back links AND the websites they are linking to.
People tend to think Google as some massive robot with no sense of reasoning and that they don't keep track of stuff like SEONUKe etc.
They are a company with employees who can sign-up and report back to their employers about shady practices that reside on the internet.
What about backlinks?
A typical backlink shouldn't be created by you.. it should be created by someone else who finds your content valuable. This is why Google is pushing for quality content so that others will share it.
So at the end of the day, create wicked content that people want to share with the world.. and your own words will be your own seonuke.
Since this last update with google backlinks are not as important I think good content and keywords get you ranked

Yea its something that does Automate certain tasks, I'm going to be 100% Honest here and tell you that its not a "Good" Product or a "Bad" Product .... Its a Tool .... Simply Put.... like a Hammer ... or Chain Saw etc .... you can do TONS of Good with the Tool and save loads of time .... Like with a Chain Saw when it comes to cutting wood ... but If your not sure what your doing you may get Hurt (Kinda like chopping off your Arm with a chain Saw) or Sandboxing your site ...
Since Early 2010 ... most of these Automatic tools have been Dying out, since they don't work as well as they use to, since back in those days you could just "Flip" the Tool on and have it send tons of Links , and then with time you would Rank ... but with Today's SEO that is Simply NOT the case... so gone are the days of EASY automation, now it takes time and Knowledge to set up these things (or you could hurt your site, pretty bad) ..... They still work if your Know what your doing...but I would Recommend staying Far far away from them ... or if you do use them don't use ones that run off a list of websites like SEOnuke or UD or Xrumer ..... use one like GSA that "searches" for related blogs at random to post "Relevant content" ... using websites that Post to other sites from a "List' leave a HUGE footprint for the big G ....
My advice for 150$ per month (cost of SEOnuke X) ... you could have someone write you 3 Websites FULL of Content.... (Ten 500 Word Articles at 5$ per) and if you target easy to rank for Terms... you will prob rank almost all 30 pages of content and be making $$ ... instead of spending $$ :)
