What Makes a Good lLeader?

Leadership is a skill that is learned.

'Not everyone possesses good leadership qualities. When you watch a flock of geese they fly in formation, and the leader does not always remain the same. In the course of a flight, you will often see where several of the flock will take their turn moving to the front of the vee. As the leader tires, it falls back and takes a place with the other followers, while a new leader emerges to pierse the wind.

Different people have different views on what is a good leader. Leadership is necessary in any group or enterprise. Groups may have a single leader that can perform several roles or they may have multiple leaders performing different roles.

Just remember, then when you are in a leadership position you are in service to others and your opinions should come in second. As a leader you want to be an advisor to the group, but you listen and incorporate their opinions into what is best for your company.
