This is what it looks like today but it where the settlers lived during colonial times

Fort Jackson used during the fight for Independence

they were also surrounded by native Americans who fought alongside the colonialists

This is why Savannah is a tourist attraction--the beauty of the Spanish Moss trees

This house sits across the street from the public library and I had friends that owned it while they were in Savannah. Burt Reynolds would often visit the house and take co-workers because of the fancy grillwork on the house while he was making movies in Savannah

Savannah is one of my wife's and my favorite vacation spots. We love River Street with the shops and restaurants.
In your first picture we sat in those benches.
