Have You Heard the Expression Darkest Beyond Dawn
That feeling of hopelessness is often when your attitude becomes negative and tends to stay in the negative mode. Often someone who is mentally ill read acts to those emotions mostly because they haven't learned the right coping skills to overcome those feelings. Not only that, they often get off the medication that keeps their brain balanced.
One of the root causes for mental illness, is a chemical imbalance in the brain. This imbalance can often cause deep depression. Once an individual learns coping skills and understanding of who they are deep down they can often tell when something is off and they need help.
Mental illness is a real disability and families who have members who suffer from mental illness should be in touch with the National Mental Health Association because they offer support groups to help you cope with having a family member who is mentally ill.
