My third week here and I'm feeling hopeless..

I don't know if some of you guys is having or had the same issue as me, but I don't feel as motivated as I was weeks ago when I started. I'm unsure about my niche, (that's why I don't own a domain yet), not sure if it can be profitable or not.

I don't have time and energy to develop my website after a long day at work, having only weekends available for that, and I'm getting stressed out.

I was thinking about changing the focus of my website, doing like a personal blog where I can talk about my routine, so I would keep sharing recipes plus other things that interest me, what makes easy for me to keep posting little things daily without having to do much research about, since I'll be talking about my experiences without focusing in only 1 thing.

The main reason I'm here is to try to make money doing something I'm passionate about and eventually quit my job that I don't really like.

Please give me a feedback, any help would count. I already canceled my membership, but have 2 weeks left before it expires. The link of my website is below.

Thanks a lot!

I think you just answered your own question here. You picked something you aren't really into or passionate about. And that in my opinion is the reason why so many people give up. I really would think about what is your primary reason for giving this a shot. Is it just to make some extra cash or do you really want to try something new and succeed at it. If I just picked any niche and said aww whatever let me see if this will fly, I'd be burned out and feed up within a month. But, since I like to blog about different products already and have done for a few years I chose a niche I liked which was blogging tips. So, I think if you focus on a particular topic that truly interests you, you will find success. And remember it's not an overnight thing. You could do a daily recipe and even post a vlog on your site or tips to cooking different types of food....theres really no barriers for you. You just have to be passionate about what it is your doing and think of it as a long term business and not just a way to make a quick buck promoting stuff you could care less about. Hope that helped and I'm not trying to be mean here.

Thank you so much for your help!
But do you think if I talk about more topics like fitness, beauty products I like, decorating, books I read and recommend, and so on instead of focusing only on cooking and recipes would be too confusing? I like so many things that is hard to focus in only one.

I think it would be great if you focused on maybe three at the most. It could be diet, beauty tips for women and fitness. That way it would be a niche that is related to self improvement for women. But dont stray off that otherwise you could confuse your audience. But also remember you started this for a reason and that's to better yourself. And it's really not just about earning more money but building something you can be proud of. I know you have it in you and once you get going nothing will stop you. Just believe in yourself and write about what you really like and the rest will follow. Also don't put time restraints on this...its not a race. I only write an hour a day but in 7 weeks have 60 posts done but my mark is to get 1000.

Thanks again! You have great ideas!
