What Is My Niche?

Thinking of a goal is a thought.
Speaking a goal is a dream.
Planning a goal is a reality.
Acting on a plan is a substance
30-days create a habit
Living a habit becomes a lifestyle

In my 73 years, I've discovered two truths: Most people's dreams aren't close to what they're capable of, and (2) people's realities are based on intangible concepts.
Many folks have a wrong reality without knowing it. For many, money is their dream. If that is the case, why not Monopoly money? Money is an intangible concept. What you want to accomplish with that money is tangible enough to plan. From the dream, drill down till you find the reason(s) for wanting money. To be able to pay bills is intangible. My monthly bills at the last business I owned averaged $52K for a company of 75. My bills in three years are expected to exceed $20K because of the need for a full-time copywriter, editor connected to a publishing house, and a networked office that can handle several terabytes of daily traffic.

Drill down till you find the "REAL" reason, which is rarely what the dream started as. I want money, yet when I drill down, the real reason is to make enough so my wife never worries about money again! While my ADHD anxiety disorder makes me fearful, it's never concerning anything big because I can handle big. It's insignificant things I worry about most, such as my boss calling me early for a meeting. On the other hand, my wife worries incessantly about big things like the mortgage, homelessness, hunger, our grandsons going hungry, etc. I love her so much that I will move the Earth for her, so I want to make enough money to keep her happy, healthy, and thankful for every day we have remaining! How much money is that? Now you understand what I mean by intangible because this is a constantly moving target!

What juices you? What makes you jump out of bed after four hours of sleep because you're so excited to get going you can't sleep anymore? When you drill down deep enough and hit it, you will know! Your heart rate will rise, and your excitement will build. Think a couple of years ahead and ask yourself: "Will that concept be enough to keep me going during slumps"? If not, keep drilling! Choose another dream if you get to the bottom and still haven't found it. If you still haven't seen it, ask yourself: "ARE MY DREAMS BIG ENOUGH FOR ME?" If your dreams don't scare you, you're not thinking big enough! Then start drilling again!
