My first month in WA
It is one month since I joined WA
3rd Feb 2015 (I joined 4th Jan) ...so far it has been one hell of a ride (in a good way) ...I just finished course 2 (which suggested I write this blog). I have created two websites already: http://www.hempthusiasm.com and http://www.elegantmenswatches.com ...I am very happy with them (really surprised myself). WA really delivers the goods.
The training so far has been great (thank you Kyle)
I have applied it as advised but must admit to sustaining some brain damage on a fairly regular basis. I have asked questions of the community so many times and received an unbelievable measure of help from them. I am so grateful for that. Without it I am sure I could not have persevered. There are some remarkable people in here prepared to lend a hand and they have my respect.
I remember when I started
...my rank within the community was way over 5000 and now it is 325. I am happy about that. While I don't have the experience and knowledge of so many who have helped me. Sometimes a member maybe a week or two behind me may ask a question about a lesson I did recently and I have been able to help them (I need to deserve the help I have been getting). If I want members to look at my websites and leave comments, likes and shares - then I have to be prepared to do the same for them and others.
I wanted to experience free membership
I wanted to experience the free membership for a while but went premium after about 5 days. That was probably because I wanted my own domain. I actually got two domains at that stage the first cost me $1 and the second $10. I don't recommend the two website method to everyone but I reckon it works for me. Sometimes I hit a flat spot on one so I work on the other till I hit the flat spot. They are quite different niches so one is a good therapy away from the other.
I am looking forward to the next course
.....(especially learning about monetizing my sites). However, I am not overlooking what is going to make it all work. Lots and lots of quality content using low hanging fruit keywords. Over the next few months I will be working hard on getting out plenty of posts on my websites and sourcing suitable affiliate arrangements. Reckon I will go annual with my WA membership and really go for it.
Big thumbs up for WA
WA has proven to me to be an excellent training site for the creation of Wordpress websites for the purpose of affiliate marketing. Add to that a host for my two websites with the option of hosting up to another 23!!! ...an excellent platform for working on my websites. Add to that an outstanding community of helpful, motivated human beings.
Congratulations to Kyle and Carson for putting all of this together, I take my hat off to you both ...hell of an achievement. To all WA members - keep on keeping on and good luck.
Andrew

Hey Drew :) Your journey sounds a lot like mine, although I've only been at a couple weeks now. I have had to make myself take a day off here or there because I'm one of those who will immerse myself into the training and website creation so much that I'll come out just wanting to collapse. Recovery time I guess would be a good word for it lol. Great luck to ya!
You are right about that Katy ...I wouldn't actually go so far as to say I have become obsessed ...maybe absorbed ...keep taking two steps forward and one step back ....soldier on ...good luck to you ...Andrew
