Hello there,

I am writing this blog with hope to get some help, tips, idea. Not as if i've already haven't read loads of tutorials, educations etc. about this. I even asked for help in live chat and received some great advice and tips, but still stuck in nowhere!

So in general - I AM STUCK WITH FINDING A NICHE!

This means - I cannot go further with the education. I am not able to buy my own domain, if i am not sure what niche will be the right niche for me! And the worst is that i am a person without any hobbies, or experience or knowledge in some particular area !

My concerns:

1. If i have zero experience in some seemingly profitable and nice niche, but only find it interesting, can i still build a competitive site, and be able to write a valuable content?

2. If i choose some extremely competitive niche, but i have some experience with some of the products, related to that niche, should this be preferable than point 1?

Material for articles in my site - it's obvious that it'll be stuff, i've read from other similar sites, after searching in google. So how can avoid the copy/paste situation? Especially with the "Top 5/10/ etc." articles?

And when i am browsing the other sites in that niche, i have some interest , i am getting extremely desperate, because i cannot imagine how i can write so much stuff and information, without copy/paste?

Or may be i should go with my first choice, risk the money for the domain name, and then go with some research in the field and try to get some valuable knowledge?

And in the end i don't want this to sounds discouraging for the other newbies), but for me as a person (as said above, without hobbies or certain interests) online marketing wouldn't be something i'd be successful, but i might be follow the track, and create a website, as my first hobby, with not expectations of any revenue ...

Any comments, advice and tips are welcomed!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Draga, I don't believe it is absolutely necessary to be passionate about a particular niche in order to make a success out of it. The important part is SEO and keyword research.

You could find a keyword (or keyphrase) which is really obscure and about which you have no prior knowledge. If this long tailed keyword is highly rated and, when you search for it in Google (incognito) or Bing, you find that the number of search results is relatively low (say, less than 2m), and you find that there aren't many authority sites on that exact niche, then you may be onto a winner.

Then all you have to do is register a domain (preferably with a URL which contains your "golden" keyword. Then, start writing content (which conforms to good SEO practices).

I know of a number of people of have made huge successes by doing precisely what I alluded to above. And the funny thing is, they have no interest in those particular niches, other than the fact that they are making money out of them!

But how can i write about something, i don't have experience/knowledge? I'll end up with copy/paste or will be able to write just a few sentences ....

I need help with the following problems that I have in order to be able to be able to get my online business moving:
1-How can I transfer my blog from my website to Social Media?
2- I have a Niche but I want to know where I should find products related to me Niche? Click Bank or e-commerce?
3- What is the easiest way to get traffic to the product?

Thank you,

I know that me telling you something like: "everyone is an expert in something" is probably not very helpful. In your profile picture you are standing on top of a bluff (is that what it is called) overlooking what appears to be the ocean. Are you up there with your dogs and/or kids? Are you getting ready to hang glide? Did you stay the night around this space?

There are any number of niches that this represents. You hit on it above: Take something that someone you know has made a hobby. This gives you insight and a helping hand and shows that it is a popular hobby and search for a product to help in this endeavor, and then getting writing!

Thanks for your comment, i really appreciate your help! Well, i am standing at the White Cliffs near Dover, UK. I were there on a 3-day vacation with my husband last year! No dogs and kids around hehe ...
And about someone else's hobby .... ok - that's desperate but i can't recall anybody, i know well with a hobby ... :( ... My husband's hobby is playing one facebook game and that's all ... it's devastating situation ....

I mentioned all of the stuff in my comment to get you thinking about hiking gear, hiking information and hiking locations! I asked about the kids because they need attention on hikes as well. the hang gliding is still a fairly popular activity and needs gear, special clothing for warmth and safety.

Playing Facebook games or games in general? You could either get a new husband with a different hobby or get him to help you understand the games better. (He may be your expert)

ps no, I am not serious about the new husband!

Finding a niche can be very daunting - especially if you think that you don't have anything of value to offer. The thing is - we all have something to offer.
Perhaps consider the following:
A niche is a specific problem that you solve for a specific group of people.
Which problems have you faced and mostly fixed yourself?
What could you offer to others to solve a problem?
The goal in this work on your niche is not to put pressure on yourself to find the perfect niche right away. It's a process.
Perhaps pick something basic to get started, build a website, content etc and then progress. At least to make a start and learn the process.
I know someone that produced a very successful e-book on knitting for profit and wasn't even a knitter! They did a lot of research to see what problems (questions) people were turning to Google for answers....that gave their ideas for content...
good luck

The truth is that i can't come up with anything to solve other's problems .... i can't solve my own problems hehe ... well i started the Affiliate Bootcamp, so hopefully i'll gain some success there ... Thanks a lot for your comment and nice advice!

Perhaps just find a topic to use as your first 'practice' in order to learn the technical skills to build a website and do your SEO. It could be on 'scrapbooking', 'knitting', 'natural household cleaning methods', 'gardening', 'cooking for kids', 'how to get organised' - it doesn't necessarily have to be something that you are an expert in. Pick a topic and then do some keyword research - find out what answers people are looking for on google - this will help you narrow down your focus to at least get a start. Then do some research on the topis and write a couple of articles. It is a little time consuming but that is all part of the process. For your first website don't get hung up on the topic. getting started is a big step but once you start hopefully you will get on a roll. Try not to doubt yourself so much - you can do it! Good luck!
