Overthiking vs problem-solving

Last Update: September 09, 2019

Over thinking is different from problem-solving. Problem-solving involved thinking about a solution, while over thinking involved dwelling on the problem. The habbit prevents you from taking action. On the other hand, when you don't overthink, you become more efficient, more peaceful and more happy. So, just take it easy on yourself and stay positive.

A great point Donovan. It is so easy to get caught in the overthinking trap.

Over thinking can cause paralysis.

Better to take action, and sort things out on the job.

It can be a habit to work on overcoming.

Good share.

I agree. I used to overthink everything. The problem with overthinking is that you start to analyse every option, including the options that end up in failure. This approach will prevent a call to action and a loss of productivity. Sometimes waiting for a better solution is not the best option.
