When I set up my email address to be linked to my hotmail address I thought I had done it correctly but when I send a test email to my website address it doesn’t come to

Probably trying to teach you to suck eggs but did you watch Kyle;s I did the super challenge and here are my notes from that.

1. Access – Site Manager. Open Site Email at top of page
2. Click and page with all email addresses shows up.
• Need to be hosted by WA
3. Domain specific is a requirement to some SEs. Helps provide verification of ownership.
4. Email inbox:
• Choose domain
• Choose name
• eg Helen@workingonthewildside.com
• SMTP settings to organise email. Open site. Paste password.
5. Forward to Gmail.
• New email forward click
• Choose domain
• Forward to Gmail address
• Note: if do a forward, need to delete the new email mailbox. Can’t do both.

Thanks. For some reason it doesn’t like my hotmail address. I deleted one to try it again and it still didn’t work. So I deleted it and then just tried to set it up without having it as a forward account, used the incoming and outgoing server details and it still didn’t like it when I tried setting it up on my phone. I think I’ll just go old school and use the WA email server for these emails, just means I can’t have a quick look via my mobile emails.

Or you could open a Gmail account. After all it is free.

I live in Australia, have started using the Australian Amazon Affiliate program as delivery charges are national, but because my site is a .com and for everyone should I also b

I gave up on Amazon however I did originally join before Australia was included. Now I know there is a system to connect several Amazons but don't know which ones. I will chase it up for you as I should know this. Tomorrow.

Hi - you can join as many Amazon programs as you wish. You can then use Amazon's own tool called OneLink. It automatically detects where a customer is based, and directs them to their correct country site when they click a link. It even suggests alternatives, if the original product is not available in their country.

The one downside, is that you have to meet Amazon's target for each country you are signed up to. So, for example, 3 sales in 180 days for the Australian site, 3 sales for Amazon.com, 3 sales for Amazon.co.uk etc. This is quite difficult to achieve.

Thanks for that. Appreciate it.

180 days is 6 months - I hope to make a sale in that time but 9 sales over 3 amazons will be interesting.

If you don't meet the target, you can apply again immediately and will be accepted, but you will be given a new ID and will have to change all your links, because they won't work any more.

That sounds like fun

Not difficult, but time consuming. I did it a couple of months ago
