HAPPY FEET

It all started out on September 21, 2019,. Which for those of you that can add that up it's a hell of a long time until today right?

So how many days is that then if you didn't add them up? It's 133 days to tell you that's a lot of days. That's how many days it has been since I could walk without a walking boot.

Today I am able to walk without that dang boot and it is awesome. I feel like I am relearning how to walk again. Just as I did about 12 weeks ago when I started walking in the walking boot.

If you don't remember I broke my foot on September 21, 2019, around 9 p.m. Yes I was at a wedding for some friends and my wife was a bridesmaid.

As you may know when a group of friends stand up in a wedding for their friend they tend to pay little attention to said partner. AKA ME!!

I made it to the table of other said partners and we made are way into bottles of beer and mixed drinks until we all had to many and yet kept dumping more and more in the old pie hole.

STUPID MOVE

So..... I was then out on the dance floor with everyone and this wedding party was almost as awesome as my wedding, dance floor never was empty. We even added an extra hour to the night from the DJ to keep on playing great music.

So you can see my fat ass drunk and jiggling everywhere on the dance floor. I take a step and my foot twists the wrong way and I almost fall to the floor.

Man did it hurt but I just kept right on going after a little break and some liquid courage. Stupid idea after that but you know what alcohol can do to the mind.

Kept dancing on it as well until midnight and then went home. Next day was not so good at all and I felt like hell.

FRESH FEEL NOT FOR REEL

Now as I wake up after not enough hours of sleep I need to use the bathroom and so the

headache begins as well.

The first foot down is my left foot and no problem right? Yes that foot is fine but the right foot is an understatement of pain as I stand up on it.

I almost fell down when I stepped onto the floor for the first time. I think I had tears in my eyes as soon as my foot hit the floor.

I woke my wife up screaming in pain and she said what the hell I am trying to sleep. I looked down and my foot was almost two sizes bigger than the night before.

Told the wife um we might need to go and get this looked at. Long story short got an x-ray about two hours after getting up and then spent the need 133 days in that walking boot.

JOY OF BREAKING THE FOOT

One of the greatest things about breaking my foot is finding this great place. WA has been and I hope it will continue to be a great place to learn and meet new people every day.

I also have made a great website with just under 40 posts now. Made a few sales on Amazon and not sure how but not complaining.

Have been accepted into a lot of affiliate programs and I am working on building everything up as I go.

So amazing to meet you all and I enjoy every time I get to talk to all of you. Thank you got taking the time to comment and chat with me on a daily basis.

Thank you also to Carson and Kyle for creating this place and teaching me how the hell it all works. I am not a millionaire like some others said would happen by now, which they said doesn't happen anyway right.

Thank you and enjoy the weekend and the rest of this great year.

I love it Douglas--and all from a broken foot, no doubt! I joined WA about 2 years after I had my partial amputation, and I should've been further along, but I'm having too much fun--I am inspired by your success though, my friend. I should come up and we could crash a few weddings! ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜’

Yea but you have to do the dancing. I will do the drinking and videotaping you doing the dancing. you can also drink but have to dance as well.

You will get your site going just do one post a week and it will get more and more as you go.

Great post, Doug! I'm happy that you could get rid of the boot, it must have been nice! And it's amazing that you are starting to get commissions from sales already.
You have a good base with 40 posts on your website, if you keep going there will be 100 soon!
Have a nice weekend!

Thank you and you have a great weekend as well.

Glad the foot is doing well and you are out and about. What happened is why I watch the liquid at events these days. Actually do not remember being snookered for over 35 years. Even if I felt like it, at 69 and taking certain meds's it's a death wish.
Seems you are now headed in a great direction. Best to you and the future.

Yea I agree I never get drunk and that was really why it happened for sure. Life goes on. Thank you for the comment.

Hello Douglas! Great news you are out of the boot. Sorry you broke your foot, but happy your feet brought you to WA so we could meet you!! Dancing seemed like the most exciting thing to do at the moment... what alcohol can do to the mind. Great to hear about your online journey and I look forward to reading more!! Best wishes and happy feet! Bill.

Thank you Bill.

Thank you. I have been back to work for three weeks now and it takes away from this but that's ok it's a marathon, not a sprint and the weekends I can really push forward if I need to take the time to make more posts.
All the best
Douglas
